Sassy dress! Size to your hips, ladies!!!
Due to an "incident" I had 5 dresses to choose from, and this one was the winner. I am 5'5" and 140-145 lbs. My measurements are 34/26/39, which translates into 2/4 on top, 4/6 in the waist, and 8 in the hips. This dress would not have worked if I hadn't sized to my hips. I wore a strapless nude bra and felt fine all night. You could probably even get away with a standard bra as long as you have one of those hooks to bring the straps together in the back so they don't show. It is a little short when you sit down, but my husband said it was fine (and he's not one to want me to show off my kibbles and bits in front of his family, y'know?). My experience with RTR was wonderful and I cannot wait to find another reason to work with them again.

Not a great fit for my pear shape.
I am a true pear shape, measurements 34/26/39 which translates into 2/4 on top, 4/6 at the waist, and a solid 8 at the hips. So I split the difference and got the 6. It fit poorly in the top (gap in the back) fine in the waist, and too tight in the hips. I could have pulled it off, but it didn't fit as well as the other dress I had. I might have worn it somewhere more intimate, but not in front of my husband's grandparents. It didn't feel right to look too sexy. If I was going to rent this dress again I woudl actually just embrace the total sexpot look and try to wear a size 4 so it fit my top bits better. There's a decent amount of stretch in the fabric and the ruching hides any tummy insecurities.

Pretty conservative dress, but well-loved
It runs a bit large, but it's a very easy dress to wear. No worries about something showing that shouldn't be. Easy to dance, sit, eat, and drive in. I thought it looked a bit matronly for what I was looking for, but if I had ended up wearing it I would have been fine. The patricular dress they sent me needs some TLC on some of the decals--they're folding in on themselves.

Absolutely stunning dress
I got this dress because my backup size was suddenly unavailable and one of the stylists picked this out for me. I never would have picked it myself, but I ended up loving this piece. The color was great for my skin and the cut was perfection. It looked like it was tailor made for me even when I sat down. I am 5'5", 142 lbs. My measurements are 34/26/39 (true pear shape). I am wearing 3" heels in the photo. It ended up being a little more formal than I was comfortable with for an 85 degree wedding day, but I really hope I get to rent this and wear it some day.

If you're a pear like me, size to your hips for best looking fit.
I am 5'5", 142 lbs and it would have looked better if I had worn the size 8, but it would have been too big everywhere else. I am a true pear shape--34"/27"/39"--which translates to a 2/4 on top, a 4/6 in the waist, and 8 in the hips. So it was too big on top, and because I sized to my waist instead of my hips, there wasn't enough length to skirt the ground like I had hoped. This was my first choice dress when I saw it but it ended up being the worst for my body. I ended up wearing a backup.
