If renting for work-don't
This dress is really beautiful. It accentuates curves and is a nice fabric. HOWEVER, if renting for work, the middle slip in the front os just too high. If renting for weekend, then you are good to go! Elegant but sexy

Wow
Structured, fitted, and flattering top. The material os well made and definitely feels high fashion. It looked gorgeous. Seriously considering purchasing. Wore it with a gray pencil skirt and black pumps. Wow. Definitely wish I saw more like this as opposed to the loose fitting tops in vogue right now. The 10 fit perfectly--definitely not loose but the right kind of tight. Again, just a power top.

Underwhelming
The arms were extremely long. The front opening is revealing so I had to wear a cami underneath (I don't like the way that looks). The ties were wrinkled. I wore it with a black pencil skirt. The color was pretty-neutral tones. And the floral design is very in at the moment. But overall, too large for me.

Gorgeous color, runs *VERY* large, scuba material
I read the reviews and figured I would order a size down. (I am a true 10 and ordered the 8). NOPE--still too big. I kept it to try it with a pencil skirt tucked in all the way although, even tucked in it is large. Why? Because the print and color are GORGEOUS and I really like the fabric. Will post picture. ORDER 2 SIZES DOWN if you want it to be form fitting!!!!!!! Order 1 size down for it to fit like model image.

Beautiful
Such a stunning gown. I did not need shapewear because it seems this Italian brand creates its dresses in a way that it is really flattering to the figure. The mermaid shape was stunning. I wore 3.5" inch heels in it (I am 5'7") and it was fine. Rent it!

It looked stunning on my hourglass figure. Stretchy yet thick fabric. It was fun and different enough but completely appropriate for a work event. I don't wear dresses for work without sleeves so this was perfect. I was concerned the bottom part would be see-through but it was not an issue. It was very flattering. The L was large enough to keep it work appropriate without compromising the dress's silhouette. It could have been a tiny but smaller but again, it fit nicely. I normally wear a 10 in Hugo Boss and Ann Taylor if that helps and 12 in j crew. The dress zips on the side and on the back a the top there is a small button hook. The only negative is that the button hook came off on its own a few times. Considered purchasing but will just rent again. Perfect. Conservative but a stunner.

The dress was definitely tight at the chest but I made it work. My back up size 12R would have been perfect but it was damaged prior to being shipped to me and thus I got another dress that I didn't like. I wore it with heels (3" heels) and it was fine (I am 5'7"). The fabric was heavy. The detailing was beautiful. Overall, the dress was gorgeous albeit a little tight.

Unique and flattering
Loved it. Fit true to size. I am an hourglass shape with wide hips. Fit perfectly. My figure looked great. The neckline was not as revealing as I thought it looked in the picture. In fact, nothing showed for me (I did apply some boob tape but again, even without it you couldn't see my breasts). I don't know if it would be the same for larger breasts (I am 36D). Thick fabric but wore it in 85F degree weather and it wasn't bad. Really unique dress. The cape is attached to the dress at the neckline so that part was a little bit heavy but it didn't bother me. Wore it with nude pumps.

I rented this dress as my back up and did not end up wearing it to my event, however, here is some useful information about the dress. The fit: This dress is very flattering to the waistline. It makes your waist look tiny! (The way the bandaging is designed makes it fit like a corset). On the flip side, however, right underneath the waist line a bulge was created (that I do not usually have). Thus, you def. need shapewear to smooth it out. The size: I usually wear an 8 or a 10 because I have wide hips but I am smaller up top. This dress was perfect for that. It runs pretty true to size. I also tried on the Large and it was not that different. Herve dresses definitely give because they stretch. The color: It is a deep charcoal gray, just like pictured. Accessories: I would have accessorized this differently had I worn it to my event however since I didn't, (I was just trying it on), it is pictured with nude pumps and a bangle set from J Crew (white, black, and peach). Length and cleavage: Mid thigh in length. Cleavage shown. No bra necessary because the bandaging holds it all in (and RTR send me double sided tape!) :) Customer Service: Received the dress on my doorstep on the date requested. Everything came packaged well. The dresses I rented were in tip top shape. And the return process was easy. 1, 2, 3! Overall: RTR PROVIDES AN AWESOME SERVICE! How else would women get to wear Herve at this price?! Very satisfied customer here.

I wanted to wear something for a night out for my birthday. I would define my style as elegant with hints of sexuality, however, due to my taste for luxurious high-end products, I usually have little luck in the price range I want to spend. I decided to rent this Herve and it turned out to be {PERFECT!} SIZE: I am sure it will look amazing on many body types but the peach lining on the dress really accentuates curves. I am smaller up top but have wide hips so I usually wear an 8 or a 10 dress size (because of my hips), and the M was perfect (especially because the fabric can stretch). COLOR: The color is absolutely perfect - it is a vibrant purple with peach lining. I was sick of wearing black dresses so I really wanted something bright. This definitely did that (but it was not tawdry at all). FIT: The length goes to the knee and the bust area shows cleavage, but a tasteful amount. You might need some help to get the dress zipped up all the way. I did not need to wear SPANX. ACCESSORIES: I kept it minimal (because this dress DOES not need much more). I wore nude pumps with one thin peach bracelet (my own) on my right arm. I carried a Fendi clutch. OVERALL: If you're debating whether to get this dress or not - get it! I had some hesitations: I wasn't sure it would fit my hips; I wasn't sure if I needed SPANX; I wanted it to look sexy but worried the dress would be too long; etc. All of those hesitations were WRONG. This dress made me look and feel AMAZING!
