This dress was perfect for the black-tie wedding I attended. I recently lost a lot of weight, so I was unsure how designer dresses would now fit. I'm a size 6 (sometimes 4) in street clothes and the 6 fit very comfortably. Not hard to zip at all! And the design and structure allows you to not worry about a few bumps here and there. There is a boned bodice sewn in, so you don't really have to wear a bra. I'm a little on the smaller side of B, so I wore a strapless bra for some push-up. I'm 5'7" and ordered the regular. Looking back, I should have ordered the long. I like to wear about 4" heels normally as I did with this dress. The dress was a bit too high off the ground for my liking; I would ideally like my toes just peeking out. But, it was wonderful to wear anyway. I would recommend wearing your hair up. Before I put mine back, my long hair kept getting caught in the sequins. Another note about the sequins - they are not bright sequins, which was a plus for me and they can itch in your armpits, but this is easily forgotten after a few cocktails. Overall a great dress that I felt elegant and sexy in.

I've rented this dress in another color previously, so I was confident in its fit. It's nicely tailored and structured. The material has a heavy weight so it can be hot. (I wore it in the middle of the summer.) The weight plus tailoring makes for a comfortable dress. Comfortable in a way that you don't worry if there will be an "oops" moment. I felt like there was enough structure in the bodice to forego a bra. I usually wear a push-up, but there was plenty of "lift" in this dress. The skirt is, well it's an a-line, so not much to expound upon. The only (minor) problem I had was that the straps sometimes slipped down. I attribute this to my short-ish torso, so it may not be a problem for all people. Overall, I felt very confident and sexy in this dress.

I wore this dress to an afternoon White House holiday party. It was perfect for the occasion; festive, appropriate, flattering. I definitely have a pouch, and this dress hid it perfectly. It hugged my boobs nicely so that it looked like I had some nice ones! The color and fabric was great - almost like a tweed, but very polished and the purple is as bright in person as it is in the picture. It has a nice square back, which is a flirty touch, but doesn't restrict your bra placement. I did put my boyfriend on watch though just in case. I almost forgot, it has pockets so I got to be like a dude and not carry a clutch everywhere. Also, I have seen it on two TV shows since I rented it. Overall, a great choice if you want something fun but still appropriate.

This dress was very flattering. It has the corset feel; it makes you stand up a little straighter, without the discomfort of an actual corset. The tailoring through the midsection is what hides flaws. At 5'7" the length was perfect, flirty without being tarty. With the straps places where they are on the bust I didn't experience that armpit fat phenomenon. The material of the dress also had a nice weight to it. It was a bit hot in an old church, but I didn't feel like it would blow up when at a waterfront reception. Overall, great dress!

This dress was perfect! I wore it for a wedding and received so many compliments. I misplaced by goody bag with the double-sided tape so I did experience a "warbrobe malfunction" while reaching for the bouquet. Small price to pay though. I recently lost some weight and am a large 8, I ordered both 8 and 10 and ended up using the 10. I was concerned about the back being tight as I am self conscious of my non-lean back. No worries though, it did not dig in. The strap did not fall off, I was concerned about this as this is usually a problem for me. Not with this dress. Overall, I felt confident in this dress, which is the most important factor for me.
