Lots of compliments, but the fit was challenging.
I am 5'5" and about 130 lbs with an athletic build. I am usually a size 6 and ended up wearing the M in this dress. I'm pretty flat chested and the top fit just fine. If I actually had boobs it probably would have been tight. I found the dress to be tight in the ribcage area, which made it hard to sit down comfortably. It had no give at all. However, it didn't look noticeably tight and I received quite a few compliments. It was a little baggy around the middle, so the size L would definitely have been too big. The fabric was thick enough that it didn't show any imperfections but light enough that I wasn't too hot for the outdoor summer wedding I attended. So, in short, it looked good, but was not the most comfortable to wear.

Great dress, but runs small.
Overall, this was a great dress. I'm 5'5" and 130lbs with a somewhat athletic build. I normally wear a size 4, so I rented a 4 and a 6. The 6 was definitely a bit tighter in the ribcage and hip area than I would have liked, but the dress does have some give to it, so it was manageable. I'm small chested, so the top fit well. Bigger chested girls might spill out. I received lots of compliments on the dress and loved the color, which was a very deep blue.

Loved this dress!
I rented this dress for a black tie optional wedding. It was a big hit and I got tons of compliments. I'm 5'5" and weigh 130lbs with an athletic build. The small fit like a glove and hit me just above the knee. The dress is very stretchy, so there was plenty of give. It did ride up a little bit while dancing, but it was fine. The top sucks you in a bit, so if you're small chested like me, it doesn't really do much to enhance your bust line, but doesn't make you look like a boy either. I was afraid initially that the dress would look too much like lingerie, but in real life it's very elegant looking and not trampy at all.
