Such a fun dress to wear!

This dress gives you slightly exaggerated shoulders that tapers in to your waist for a curvy silhouette. The material is stretchy and extremely forgiving, especially with the strategic ruching at the belly. The leg slit wasn't really visible on me because of how low the slit sits on my leg, but the longer length of the dress on me gave it a more elegant look. Wore it to an anniversary dinner date with my husband and he adored the dress too.

So many seams and wrinkles!

Overall, it's a nice dress but I wouldn't rent again because it had too many quirks to contend with—the fabric held wrinkles a little too well, the asymmetrical hem sat too low on my hip, and the chest area too loose for my liking. But I acknowledge that the wrinkles can be easily solved and the sizing issues won't apply to everyone (I would skip this one if you're petite and want a no-fuss rental), so if you're looking for reasons to rent: the fabric has a good weight to it, and the color is quite a lovely pale pastel yellow.

Absolutely fabulous!

If you're looking for a dress to make you feel sexy and powerful, this is it. I wanted to wear the S but the material at the chest was so terribly stretched out when I got it! Unfortunate. On the bright side, the XS fit like a new pair of Lululemon leggings (IYKYK)—hugging in all the right ways. Because of how form-fitting it was, I didn't wear a bra, and the boob window showed the perfect amount of skin while still being classy. The color is closer to a deep brown-copper in person and looks amazing in photos. I went with nude shoes & purse to give me a "friendlier" appearance but recommend black shoes & purse if you're going for a bolder look. If you like to tear it up on the dance floor, keep in mind that this dress will limit your movements.

BOLD and OH-so-cute

The fit is perfect! I love the thickness of the material, and there's a zipper to help you get in and out of it. The sleeves are perfectly puffy too. This top is not for the faint of heart, though. I was surprised at how bright the orange is when I opened the RTR bag, but I quickly fell in love with it. Ended up not wearing it for the event though, because I got sick and had to miss it. But I would 100% rent this again!

Clown-sized — would not rent as normal wear

Stretchy waistline but still runs quite large. Pants were a bit loose even as XS, but not so much so that I worried about them falling. Wore this as part of a costume for a murder mystery birthday party. I don't think I would wear these pants any other time, though they were comfortable. The green is a much darker color, even in person. You'd need a lot of natural light if you're trying to capture a lighter green in photos. Kind of mid

Good fit on the shoulders, though the sleeves feel a bit large and long, even at XS. They look much better with the cuff folded up a couple times. Wore this as part of a costume for a murder mystery birthday party. The blazer would probably match well with a pair of neutral trousers or jeans for a chic autumn outfit, but I wasn't all that wowed by it. The green is a much darker color, even in person. You'd need a lot of natural light if you're trying to capture a lighter green in photos. (If you're curious about the pants, search for "Madewell Plaid Huston Pants")

Elegant wrap dress that photographs SO well

This dress is a true sleeper. So cute, so lovely. Photographs AMAZINGLY. The XS fit me perfectly, with plenty of room to spare still, and it trailed just the tiniest bit in the back, which honestly looks great with this kind of dress. Most importantly, the dress length was perfect in the front with a small heel, so I never worried about tripping over myself. I would give this 6 out of 5 stars if I could!

What a fun dress!

The first warning I have is that this thing is going to ride up. It's a short dress that fits snugly on your body — it's gonna 100% slide up your leg. I recommend silver booty shorts underneath to give yourself a bit of a Studio 54 vibe while also not having to worry about accidentally flashing someone (you can see the shorts peeking out in the photo!). I ended up wearing this cute lil piece to our friend's mom's 60th birthday party in the afternoon and then went right to a disco-themed party in the evening after that. Both semi-formal affairs, and this dress worked great for both!

Boning sticks out at the bottom

Meh. I rented this for a modern Bridgerton high tea party but ended up not wearing it because the boning in the corset part of the dress juts out very strangely at the front. It gives the wearer a very unshapely and unflattering silhouette, which is highly noticeable in person. At least for me, I hated wearing it because it made me look like I have a protruding belly. It feels like the boning part of the dress was lazily done; it doesn't provide the wearer any structure, so I have no idea why it's there in the first place. Otherwise, the puffed arm sleeves are very cute and the material is thick enough to be opaque, but not so thick that it's hot. It'd be such a cute dress if they just got rid of the weird boning!

Cute for a masculine modern Bridgerton outfit!

Rented this for a Bridgerton-themed bachelorette weekend at a bed and breakfast! I haven't tried this as a standalone top, but it does sit quite short; skip this one if you're uncomfortable with showing midriff. As a layered piece, fair warning that you will need the right white collared shirt (needs a stiffer, higher collar IMO) underneath and high-waisted pants to make it look good. My regret with the outfit is thinking jeans and open-toed heels would do the trick. Would definitely look 1000% better with matching pants or similar light/neutral trousers, and a closed-toe loafer, oxford, or similar dressy shoe. I would buy this in a heartbeat, but RTR isn't offering a buy option for me and no other retailer online has this particular color in stock; otherwise, I'd get this piece for a fun addition to my "going out" wardrobe.

Fun, but not sexy, to wear

Pretty true to size. They didn't have size 0 available which probably would have fit more like a bodycon dress on me (which I would have liked), but I could still comfortably wear size 2. It has a bit of silicone-like material on the top edge of the shoulderless side, which helped keep it up on my chest without me worrying about it slipping. The puff sleeve was funky but I found it looked best when I let the band ride up further on my arm to give it the full puff effect. Also, the dress material doesn't have any stretch, so the bottom hem looked boxy on me rather than form-fitting. It wasn't the perfect dress, but it was still fun and comfortable to wear!

A true showstopper wedding dress!! RENT ASAP

Oh, my god. I can't even express how elated I am that this dress exists!! It was truly so divine for my courthouse wedding. This dress style isn't something I'd normally wear, but I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I do recommend wearing nipple covers of some sort (I used adhesive silicone ones) and nude seamless undies for a crisp look. My family and friends LOVED the vintage vibe of the dress as much as I did, and I had so many strangers compliment me through the day! Take a chance on this one. It's truly even more beautiful in person.

So, so, so CUTE! Super comfy to wear & fits like a glove

When I first looked at this dress up close, I wasn't sure how I felt about the textured fabric. But it actually gives the dress more dimension once you put it on, especially as a white dress. I don't think I would have liked it as much if it was a smooth fabric. The XS was perfect for me but I could have worked with S if needed. I was deciding between this and another dress for my courthouse wedding, and the only reason why this one didn't win out was because my other pick was a true showstopper. Otherwise, I highly recommend this dress for a cute, flirty look.

Needed a couple edits to bring it to perfection!

When I first put this dress on, I wasn't sure about it. The front sat very low (not in a sexy way), and the flap in the front made me feel like I was wearing a loincloth. BUT, really, this dress just needed some adjustments to bring it from "eh" to "WOW": 1 — Even though the straps are adjustable, the dress still sat too low in the front and looked frumpy. But if you bring the two straps together in the back in a quasi-"haltered" look, it'll bring the dress up in the front just enough! In one of the photos, you'll see what I mean by "bringing the two straps together". Here it's a regular safety pin, but on the day of the event, I actually asked my sister who's a jeweler to use thin jewelry wire and "chain" the two straps by the adjustable sliders. 2 — I wore one of those silicone sticky bras, but the dress is still revealing in the front, so if I moved too much the edges of the sticky bras would peek out. I would recommend using the smaller pasties/nipple covers for this dress and/or hemming tape to keep the dress in place. Other than that, the dress was a hit! The color is lovely, not too showy, and is a near-showstopper — great to wear as a wedding guest (particularly if you're part of the ceremony)!

Great length but sat a little large in the chest area

I'm surprised the length was near-perfect! Straps aren't adjustable though—if they were, I'd give this dress five stars. The chest area was a bit large on me, but the dress could work if I was a regular wedding guest. Ultimately I decided against wearing this one because I was picky about how it fit and it didn't quite match my sister's wedding palette (I was the officiant so wanted to blend in as best I could).

Cute & safe dress style, but runs long & sizes weirdly

My petite ladies, I recommend finding another dress that's less fussy to wear! If you're set on trying this one though, a combo of temporary hemming tape (I think underneath the sash is your best bet) and tall shoes *might* get you by. The fit on the chest/rib area was strange for me. With a size 0, I couldn't zip up the dress more than halfway. Then with the size 2, while the dress zipped up perfectly fine, the extra space in the chest area made the dress feel a bit on the frumpy side. For both sizes though, the length was too, too long even with tall shoes. I ended up wearing a different dress so didn't commit to either size for this one. But if I had to wear the size 2, it would have been okay — not ideal, but okay.
