I sized up based on what other reviewers said, and the dress fit perfectly. It was a little scratchy, of course. And the straps are way too long. They were slipping down all night.

I paired them with a slouchy sweater, but they would go well with pretty much any top. They were a little loose around the ankles, and a little short. But overall, it was another great rental.

This was a backup dress, after my first backup didn't work out. (Shoutout as always to RTR customer service!!) I am so glad I ended up with this dress. I've rented quite a few dresses, and this was my absolute favorite of all time. The material is shimmery, which isn't obvious in a lot of pictures. It's a truly beautiful dress. The material was a heavier weight, so this dress might be better for a fall/winter wedding. But it was unseasonably cool for a Friday in August, so it worked out great for me. I rented the 10L and the 12R. (Because that's what was available at the last minute.) I didn't notice much of a difference in the lengths, but the 10 wouldn't zip over my chest, so I went with the 12. The strap around the neck was a little long, so I just safety pinned it to a better length. I didn't have to wear a bra, because he boning that was built in gave me more than enough support.

I have put on weight recently, and I was feeling self conscious leading up to my husband's holiday party. But this dress has a lot of structure and the material is a good weight. It does a good job of hiding all the lumps and bumps. I ordered a 8, which is my current size, and a 10 as the backup. The 10 was unavailable, but the 8 ended up fitting just fine. It was snug, but not uncomfortable. The sleeves/straps did tend to ride up, but I wasn't dancing or anything, so it wasn't a huge deal.

This dress is phenomenally stunning. I rented it for a wedding and got compliments all night. It's subtly sexy with the sheer panels, but not over-the-top. The slit in the skirt is a surprisingly playful detail. It was incredibly difficult to zip up, but once it was on, it fit like a glove. (Seriously. It took my husband and I 20 minutes of serious muscle to get it zipped up.) I did not wear a bra with it. It is very fitted in the bust, so the girls weren't going anywhere, anyway. It is fitted to the waist, then very loose in the skirt. It's perfect for people like me, who have larger hips and thighs. I'm really sad I have to send it back.

I got this as a backup when another jumpsuit I rented was unavailable at the last minute. I liked the material of this jumpsuit. It was very substantial and lined, so I wouldn't have worn a bra with it if I had chosen to wear this out to my reunion. I was also able to zip it up by myself, which would have come in handy had I needed to use the restroom. I chose not to wear this, though, because it was pretty unflattering on me in the hip and thigh area. I have large, muscular thighs, and the cut of the jumpsuit combined with the white fabric did nothing for my figure. I could see how it would look beautiful on someone with a different figure than myself, though.

It fit well through the bust and ribcage. (Although a piece of boning was coming out, and I spent the whole night in pain because it was poking me in the side.) The fit around the hips was odd. It fit well, but there was extra fabric by the pockets, so it bunched in front. I have very muscular thighs. I'm a runner and a gym rat who does a lot of squats, so it was really tight around my thighs. But I got some serious compliments on it throughout the night. So it looked good, but it was not comfortable. I was able to zip it up by myself, but it was a difficult process. All in all, it wasn't one of my favorite rentals. I think I'll probably stay away from jumpsuits from now on.

I rented a dress from RTR for a friend's wedding. A few weeks before the event, I got an email suggesting I rent "mystery bling" to go with my dress. It was only $15 or so, so I figured, "Why not?!" Then this gorgeous necklace arrived with my dress! It is really a statement necklace. The dress was beautiful, too, but I probably got more compliments on the necklace through the course of the night. It is pretty heavy, but it isn't annoying. I danced all night and never really noticed it. I was so sad I had to return it today. I'm definitely going for the "mystery bling" from now on.

This dress was beautiful. I felt like a million dollars the whole night. I didn't want to return it, but someone else deserves to feel as amazing as I felt that night. The top did run small. I had to have my husband help me get into it - there is no way I could have contorted myself enough to get it zipped up on my own. But once I was in it, it was really really comfortable. The top stayed up without any issues all night. Because it is so tight in the ribcage, it created a really great silhouette - my waist looked tiny. I paired it with a Kate Spade necklace that I received as my "mystery bling" and they went together incredibly well. I wore dark teal shoes that kind of matched the necklace, and the different colors really complimented each other. This dress would look really good with bright pink shoes, too. When I first received my shipment, I tried on the 6R - there was NO WAY it was going to zip up around the chest and ribcage. So I tried my backup size, the 8R. It fit perfectly (once it was zipped), but I noticed that some of the fabric was pulling away from the zipper. I called the 800 number and they overnighted me another 8R in the same style. It arrived at 10 a.m. the next day, and it was perfect. The customer service is unbeatable. I wish I had 10 more weddings this year, so I could rent 10 more dresses!

I usually wear a 6, but I ended up wearing the 8, which was my backup size. Part of that is that the dress runs slightly small (especially in the bust), and part of the issue was that I was extremely bloated after a weekend of bachelorette festivities - lots of eating and drinking. :) I got tons of compliments on the dress. It fit true to size. I was bloated from eating/drinking too much the night before at a baseball game, and this dress was very flattering. The top is very low, but it isn't obscene. The adjustable straps made the top fit more comfortably. I did not wear a bra, and I did not feel over-exposed without one. I ordered the 6L, intending to wear it with 4" heels. I got into an accident a few weeks before the event, and could not wear the heels because my knee was injured. So the 6L was slightly long, but it would have been perfect with the heels I originally planned on wearing.
