The fit is true to size in the bodice. The back of the dress trailed on the ground for me even with 3.5 inch heels, so I had to ensure I held the train if I was walking on pavement or moving up and down stairs. If you're walking forward though, it trails beautifully. Strangers were stopping me and complimenting the dress! Loved it.

I purchased this bag on a RTR Clearance sale. The bag does not hold its shape at all as displayed in the picture. The leather is exceptionally supple and soft. The detailing is a zipper sewn along along the handle and borders of the bag which is not wholly apparent in the picture unless you study it. I worry that the zipper detailing on the handles and borders will snag delicate clothing. All in all, it's a good bag for daily use, but not one I would bring into professional meetings since it doesn't hold its shape and really just collapses in on itself since it lacks structure. Great bag if you know what you're purchasing.

Wore the dress to a wedding with red pumps. I usually wear a 2/4 or XS/S. The 4 was very tight on me, especially around the hips and bust, and I had major difficulty trying to zip around the bust. I almost thought I wouldn't be able to wear it when I was trying to zip it. The dress does not stretch, so I definitely recommend sizing up, but I think a 6 would've been much too long for me since I'm 5'3''.

Incredibly unique. Conservative but edgy with the hint of skin in the torso area. Paired the dress with coral d'orsay pumps to add a splash of color to the black and white palette. I usually bounce between XS and S for dresses. I wound up wearing the small, and it was a bit snug on me since I have hips, and this is made of stretchy material. I think this dress ultimately would work for women with straight figures. I don't think it worked perfectly with my body, but I still loved the dress. If you're curvy, it will definitely cling to your body and the geometric aesthetic may not work with curves. All in all, a very cool rental. It definitely stood out.

The dress is great for a fall/winter event. Chic and simple, it drew compliments from friends. I paired this with blue d'orsay pumps and a chunky bracelet. It appears to run large. I tried the medium on and was swimming in it. Just like the picture on the model, there is no shape to the dress, it falls straight down on the body. However, the picture with the model is misleading. In the picture, the black sheath is longer than the grey tunic. When I wore it, the grey and black were the same length, so in my pictures, you only see the grey hem. You only see the black sheath if someone is looking at you from the side. I would've much preferred the dress to look like it is on the model.

I typically wear between a size 2 and 4 depending on the designer, and in this case, the 2 was much too small for my ribcage. (So far in most of the dresses that I've rented from RTR, I've fit in the 2 with 4's as backups.) There was at least a 2-inch gap in the back, impossible to zip up all the way. I had ordered a 4 as my backup size, but for some reason, it was unavailable, so RTR sent me a random second dress of a completely different style. As gorgeous as this dress is in photos, I really wish I could've given this a 5-star rating, but due to fit, I have to give it 3 stars as my overall satisfaction with this order was disappointing. The long dress had holes along the seams, the bodice sagged since it's a soft-bodice and there are no shoulder straps to keep it up. The sagging was noticeable in flash photos so it was uneven under my bosom. The slit is very high, but not a problem so long as you walk with the slit in your grasp. The mesh sleeves and embroidery were fraying a little bit, but only noticeable if you looked closely. I still love how beautiful the gown is and think it's stunning - would love to try this in a 4R for a better fit. The dress I received was not the same one pictured on the site. Like other reviewers who have worn this dress, my dress only had 3 buttons on the back and was strapless. Not sure how a designer could have two variants of the same dress, but it's still lovely. I definitely think the full row of buttons would've been lovely and the straps may have encouraged a better, less-saggy wear. As noted in the product description, the skirt is a dark navy, not black like it appears on the model. Size up for this dress! It's one of the few RTR dresses where I couldn't fit into a 2 like I normally do.

This dress was the backup to my backup dress. As much as I would've loved to wear it, it was more formal than the events I was attending. I did not get to wear this dress. This dress is best suited for a black-tie affair like a gala, formal wedding, ballet, or opera. I typically wear between a size 2 and a 4. In this case, I was able to fit into the size 2. High heels are a must for my height. The dress is rather poofy with the tulle, but ever so lovely and light to move in. Absolutely beautiful, would love to wear this again. The dress looks like it could be cumbersome, but it really isn't. The black lace detailing looks beautiful over the peach bodice.

Wore this dress for a wedding. When I first pulled the dress out of the box, I was surprised by how thick/heavy the dress was. This is due to the use of quality materials though. I typically wear either a size 2 or 4 in dresses, depending on the design or type of materials. In this case, I had to wear the 4. The 2 was like a sheath on me, and was unforgiving in the hips. There is absolutely no stretch to this dress. Because it was snug on my hips, the 2 pleats in the front popped out, accentuating my hips in an unflattering fashion. Once I tried on the Size 4, the dress fit perfectly. I had no issue with the semi-cap sleeves. The dress is beautifully designed, holds its structure wonderfully because it's a thick dress, and the silk lining does help insulate you just a bit. If it had been thinner, I would've been much colder. My one complaint is that the zippers in both dresses were incredibly difficult. Not sure if this is due to deliberate design - the zipper is meant to be hidden, so it's incredibly hard to zip/unzip. Beware if you have to zip this up on your own - I had to get assistance every time I needed to zip/unzip, it was impossible for me to do on my own.

The greatest compliment BY FAR that I received was when Prabal Gurung himself liked my photo on Instagram. I literally had a conniption when I saw it. This dress is absolutely divine. I felt guilty spending the money to rent this dress initially, still comforted a little by the fact that I didn't pay full retail for this. However, once the dress came in, I absolutely fell even more in love with it once I put it on. The fabric is wonderfully sturdy so you don't have to worry about anything showing through and it maintains a beautiful shape on your body. I recently lost a few lbs and was about 118 lbs when I wore this to a wedding. I typically wear a 4, but ended up wearing the 2 with the weight loss. Upon looking at the 4, it almost looked too big around the abdomen, and I'm usually a 4 depending on the style or design. The 2 was perfect without being skin tight and had some room to spare in the abdomen. I think your best bet is to get two sizes as the sheath design can be tricky on the body, especially if you're curvy. A good bra will make a huge difference with the shape of the dress on your body. Despite the lovely bateau neck, I had no issues with bra straps. I am not a busty girl, but if you are more endowed, it might be snug in the chest. Absolutely no complaints with this dress whatsoever. I was heartbroken returning this. Of all the dresses I have rented from RTR, this is by far the most beautiful one and beloved. I felt incredibly sexy without having to bare skin! This dress is phenomenal and worth the rental! I absolutely wish I could own this dress.

The dress is beautiful. I wore a 4R and am curious if the size 2 would've been better for me, but the size 2 was unavailable, so I think the 4R was slightly big up top for me. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress skimmed the ground beautifully. Not ideal for windy weather as the dress will fly open at the hem.

This dress is so lovely! The sheath underneath it seems to have a soft glow underneath the black lace which creates a beautiful contrast. Conservative yet very sexy at the same time. I rented this dress for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Little did I know that the bride's side of the family and friends are huge Auburn University fans/students/graduates. It was a total coincidence that I looked like I was wearing their school colors and it was completely unplanned. Anyways, the dress is well constructed, but the material is sturdy with no stretch. This dress is more appropriate for girls with slim figures. I usually wear between sizes 2 and 4 depending on the style or designer and I wore a 4 in this. I have hips and because the material has no give, it was snug around the hips and tended to ride up. My hips aren't even that curvy, so I was surprised that the size 4 was cutting it close. The dress is also short, so if you're sitting down, you're going to need a napkin to cover your legs. Other than that, the colors, pockets and bow detail on the back are cute. The pockets turned out to be a detriment since they showed through because of my hips. I found myself having to pull the skirt down whenever I stood up since it'd ride up. I do not recommend this dress if you have (some) hips.

I paired this dress with a pair of red patent pumps, a high ponytail, and gold bangle bracelets. I got so many compliments on this dress as a wedding guest! It was chic, simple, modern and stood out from all the other wedding guests in a modest yet surprisingly sexy look. The dress turned heads and received so many compliments. I felt like a walking advertisement for RTR when people asked about the dress. This was worn to a black-tie wedding reception. I agree, the dress is snug along the side - highly recommend getting a second person to zip you in if possible. I did not have an issue with the bust. The slit in front is quite high, so it flows beautifully when walking and shows a great deal of leg (up to a little above the knee). The only problematic thing was sitting down. You definitely need to cover your legs since the front slit does not close. I simply used the tablecloth or napkin to cover my legs at the table, and a jacket over my lap while in a NYC cab. Definitely need 3-4 inch heels. I wore 4-inch heels and the dress skimmed the floor ever so lightly, but once you're walking, the dress just flows behind you and does not drag. The dress arrived wrinkled in shipping, but wrinkles came out quickly with steam from a bathroom shower. Loved the dress! My full-length photos did not come out doing the dress justice - hopefully I will find some good ones to post later.
