I rented this as an option for a black tie graduation. Ended up choosing a green dress to stand out a bit more but this was a gorgeous dress and certainly a departure from the standard black dress. The fabric and ruching is very forging. I don't think spanx is needed. The ruching also allows some forgiveness int he length as you can just bunch it up more if it is too long. I felt very classy in this dress and it elongates your body. In the end I wanted to go for a younger look but would consider renting this for the right occasion. I was 6 weeks post partum at 140 lbs when I rented this and the 42L was probably a bit big.

I wore this to my black tie graduation. Debated between this and a gorgeous black dress but decided to stand out in green. Plus, it matched my Emerald earrings I got as a push present. My little one was just 6 weeks old and this was my "coming out" event. I wanted to feel sexy again and this dress delivered. The cleavage can be a little overwhelming if you have larger boobs so you need to be comfortable with that but you have plenty of support with the straps. Mine were fine at the beginning of the night but kind of "wowzer" by the end when I needed to breast feed lol. The fabric is thick enough to be forgiving of imperfections without spanx needed. I am 5'6 and wore about 4 inch pumps. Post partum weight of 140 when I wore this and the 6 fit like a glove. I wore the long and honestly it could have been a tiny bit longer but not too short to look bad. I have never regretted ordering a long off RTR at 5'6, so long as I plan to wear heals.

Some women are braver or more confident than me, but I will never be the type to go braless. I want some kind of cup to maintain a round and perky appearance. That means a lot of these beautiful backless dresses, which I am convinced are designed for those with augmentation and don't need bras, are on my "not an option" list. I decided to try this when I wanted to rent a lace back gown, however, and they worked out okay. I was happy with the fit and the shape. I will say the dress I wore was tight and had a lace back so there was really no way for the bra to slip out of place. I would have to do some serious home testing before I would trust this to stay up and in place otherwise as there isn't much to it. Still, I'm glad to have it around as an option and it worked perfect for what I wanted.

This dress was amazing. I felt like a rock star. It was so super sexy with an all lace back, but its long length made it age appropriate. My husband loved it and I felt like all eyes were on me. I would rent it again. Especially at such a good price. It was designed to be vey tight and was somewhat restrictive so I wouldn't plan on wearing to a event you need to move around a lot for or dance.

I felt very fashionable in this. It isn't super sexy (maybe it would be more so if tighter) but it demonstrates you have some style. I wore it for a date night with hubby but I think it would be fine for a work dinner or party. I found it to run a bit large and probably would order a size down as the back up as I think I could have worn a 2. Overall a fine dress, glad to wear it out for dinner but I won't be ordering it again.

This is a beautiful dress, perfect for a date night. It was slightly on the small side and is very unforgiving as it is tight and the fabric doesn't have much structure to it. I don't even think you could wear spanx without it showing. The top is a little annoying because if you want to wear a strapless bra with it is cut in a way that it is hard to conceal the under armpit view of the straps unless you are pulling up your dress all night. I just went with a colorful bra and let it show. Overall I felt very modern and high fashion. A nice dress and glad I rented it for a night but not one I would want to buy.

I felt like a goddess in this dress. Its like a classy version of a Jessica Rabbit dress. Sexy but still mature enough to be appropriate for many settings. As other reviews have mentioned it is smallest around the chest. I am normally a size 4 or 6 in most dresses. The 4 fit perfectly around the chest (I imagine would be tight for large chested women) but was a little looser than I would have liked in the hips. Still looked nice though. If I owned the dress I would buy a 4 and have it taken in around the hips, I'm sure a size 2 wouldn't have fit in the chest. Given I am 5'6 and right on the cut off for R/L length, I always stress about the decision. With some 4 inch heels the long was slightly too long but not so long that I was stepping on it.

These were longer than I expected - in a good way. I felt very glamorous in them. I have now rented them twice!

I love this dress! All the women will stare with envy and the guys will just stare! The color is beautiful. They call it red but it is very orange as you see in the picture and boy does it pop! The slit up the side is very sexy - I needed a napkin in my lap when I sat down to hide my spanks from popping out. I felt like a movie star in this. So much so that I wasn't satisfied to just wear it once! I wore it to a wedding and then rented again for a graduation party. Honestly, if there were another event with a different set of friends there I would rent it again. I could see how this would be small in the bust for some girls as I am not well endowed and it fit snugly. At the waist, an 8 was perfect. If you are unsure I recommend ordering what you think plus a size up as according to measurements for this designer I should have been a 6 - luckily I ordered an 8 as well and it fit perfectly. I am 5'6, right at the length cut off, so I always worry about what length to order. With this, I wore 4 inch heals and the long was perfect. I wasn't stepping on the dress and yet it still came nearly to the ground. Be prepared with a little fashion tape as some of the black flowers on the belts tend to droop but is easily fixed by securing into place.
