This was a last minute replacement for another dress I’d had my eye on (but when it arrived fit horrendously), so I was very thankful that this dress fit perfectly in all the right places! It was very flattering, so much so that I opted to wear the bow in the back to show off my figure! My stomach is usually an area I like to cover up so I thought I’d want to wear the bow in the front but once I tried it in the back I loved how it looked even more. But I love that the bow placement can be decided by the wearer and works in various different ways. I’d definitely recommend this dress and would wear again if I had the opportunity!

I rented this last year for the same event, it didn’t fit well and I thought it was due to sizing. Welp I’m back to say that even the larger size still fit terribly, it was tight in all the wrong places (rib/chest area, stomach area, couldn’t zip it), and this was in a size 10 when I’m normally a 6/8. And it was also big in other areas, such as the sleeves which are way too blousy and the chest area is cut way too low with no way to close it. Sad bc it looks so cute on the model and in some other reviews but just know this dress is not for everyone!

I wore this to a mom's night out fashion show (women only event) and got so many compliments from the other women there! It was so comfortable and even though the 6 fit, it was a bit snug in the waist so I'm glad I got the larger backup size (8) which I ended up wearing. It's definitely short but if you can pull it off it makes your legs look super long! My only complaint is that the zipper is tough to get down yourself in the back so I needed a friend helping me on bathroom runs!

This dress was perfect for a wedding in Florida in February, it wasn't too warm for the afternoon ceremony and perfect for the evening reception (temperatures dropped quickly!). The fit was perfect and forgiving in my belly area (which I tend to like to cover). It wasn't too tight around my chest/ribs area which tends to be my widest point. I got so many compliments on it and wish I could keep it! It fit true to size (I wore a 6) and I almost thought I needed larger (8) but stuck with the 6.

Prefacing this with the fact that this was originally supposed to be my backup dress. My first choice dress though became unavailable last minute, so RTR sent me a substitute in its place that I decided to wear bc it went with my already chosen shoes/jewelry. However that dress turned out to be so uncomfortable. I changed as soon as the wedding ceremony ended bc it was just too tight and thank god I had this dress in my closet (and that we were staying on the same property as the wedding so I had easy access to our room!). This dress was a DREAM compared to that first dress. It's elastic around the waist/ribcage which is the widest part of my body so any dress that's too tight here becomes uncomfortable very quickly. This dress was stretchy in all the right places! I loved how it was more fitted around the chest area so it was flattering to my body yet still loose around the tummy area (I've had 2 kids). The shoulders can be worn off the shoulder or on so I chose to wear it off the shoulder most of the night though it did ride back up the shoulders at times, not a big deal. I could have gone with either the M or S but went with the S bc there was slightly less fabric which I found more flattering and it wasn't as long since my heels weren't too high. I'd love to own this dress and have it in my closet for future events! Got so many compliments on it both in person and in photos!

I love a good wrap dress, but this one runs a bit small. I'm usually a M and that's what I ended up wearing but even this M fit a bit snug. My boobs aren't that big but I'm not sure who's boobs this was made for, there's not enough fabric to wrap across enough to cover the chest area fully yet there was extra fabric where the boob actually goes. I wore a bralette though as many other reviews suggested and it looked fine peeking out under the chest area. The dress was very comfortable though overall and the pattern was cute!

So I probably should have read the reviews for this dress more closely before renting, if I had I may have not rented it at all, although it actually ended up looking better than I first expected! This dress comes in two pieces, a nude slip underneath a black lace sheath on top. It is definitely form fitting, but the slip does a pretty good job at keeping everything snug, although I still ended up wearing a pair of Spanx to flatten my tummy area. I'm 7 months postpartum right now so I'm not totally comfortable with my post-baby body at the moment, however I ended up feeling good in the dress after all (and actually felt sexy! Which I haven't felt in awhile since I've been used to just being "mommy" lately). As some of the other reviews mentioned the slip runs pretty small. It wasn't uncomfortably tight though which was nice and it smoothed things out, however the bust area was super small. My boobs aren't huge and the slip barely covered them. I decided to wear a matching nude bra under the slip which worked just fine, you couldn't even tell under the lace layer that it was a bra and not the slip. I also ended up using fashion tape to keep the lace layer attached to the bra so it didn't sneak out! I probably should've gotten a L as my backup size instead of S (not sure what in the world I was thinking!) and maybe tried the L slip underneath the M lace (as other reviewers suggested) but I'm also not sure if the L would've smoothed things out as nicely. If you're between sizes you might want to get the M and L and try different combos out for yourself. Overall I'm glad I got this dress and actually got lots of compliments, but I probably wouldn't have chosen it had I known how form fitting it was... Although in the end I'm glad I did because it was a bit out of my comfort zone and I ended up liking it!

I loved this dress in other reviewers pics and it did not disappoint in person! It definitely needs some sort of bralette (luckily I had a nursing bra that actually went perfectly under this dress!) if you don't want your girls hanging out. The 6 did fit ok but it was a bit too short and not as comfortable when sitting so I went with the 8 which fit perfectly. It was a bit loose around the stomach area but not so big that it looked oversized, just enough to be comfortable and hide the tummy area which I appreciated (being a new mom!) I got tons of compliments and wish I owned this one!

I wore this dress at 12 weeks pregnant when I wasn't quite showing yet, but still had a bit more weight than normal in my mid-section. I ordered a size up and ended up wearing the 8 (usually wear a 6) due to this extra weight. It fit well though and hid the area well, but it still felt a bit tight in the midsection. If I didn't have a small bump growing it probably would have been ok though! The 6 was way too tight for me though in the mid area, so I'd say it runs a bit small overall.

I turned to RTR for the first time to find a gown for a friend's black tie wedding after hearing great things from friends about their experience. I figured I'd rather spend under $100 on a rental than $300+ on a dress I'll only wear once. I picked this dress because it looked so good on so many different body types and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome! This dress was not only comfortable, but it fit in all the right places. I rented the 6L and 8L and was glad I listened to the other reviews and got the long, because any shorter would've been too short with heels. I probably could've gone with a bit taller shoes as the dress was a bit long with the 2" heel shoes I wore. The 8 was just a tad big in some places so I went with the 6, which is my usual size. The material and color is so unique, I got tons of compliments. I can't wait to try RTR again... wedding season's just begun!
