I received compliments from the minute I stepped out the door.
I was in between sizes -- top on the L fit perfectly but needed a little more room for hips so sized up. The slit is high, but the dress is cut in such a way that I felt comfortable and not like I was going to accidentally expose more than I wanted. The top is structured but surprisingly comfortable overall.

Was not able to wear.
I usually wear a 14 and I could not zip up the XL without a lot of effort and I didn't want to force it. It also seemed like the waist was going to hit higher than my natural waist.

A little sparkle for a holiday party
I selected true to size, but that's because I don't think it was overall small or large, but the fit was a little odd, with the sleeves and top being looser and needing to tug the wrap skirt back in place a bit. The sleeves on this dress are oddly long, and I usually have the opposite problem. I tucked the cuffs under and it worked okay. I pinned the top for peace of mind.

A stranger came up to tell me I was the best dressed guest!
This was the perfect dress for a spring church wedding. It was interesting but not too bold, flattering but not revealing. Being taller I liked the length, which hit just below my knees in the front. This was a bit snug around my ribs, but I often have that issue when I'm in between sizes. I wasn't able to try the 12 as it wasn't available for my backup.
