This is a gorgeous gown, however it is a stretchy/ruched one and has no zipper. In some ways that is very flattering, but for me it was a claustrophobic feeling. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get it off again and certainly wouldn't have been able to without destroying my planned hair-do and makeup. I ended up returning it and exchanging it for a different style since I was going to need to wear several gowns for my event, and the need to safely exit the gown was vital.

I was renting gowns for a special occasion (Needing two for the event) and this was my favorite but sadly both the 6R and 6L are way above the ground. I am 5'7" so usually R length dresses are a tad short and L dresses are on the long side but I can make them work with tall heels. (I am preg so that may be adding to the shortness, except that it was short in the back too, not just on the front of my body). Compared with other Badgley Mischka gowns in the same size, it is just hugely shorter.

I cannot praise this dress enough. It was the star of the show for my recent photoshoot with Faymous Studios. I couldn't believe how comfortable a gown could be. It fit beautifully, with plenty of room for my 40" hips.

This gown was so amazing on film for a photoshoot I was doing with the incredible Faymous Studios. It picked up a real variety of texture and color in the natural bright light. One thing to note for my fellow pear shaped ladies, the lining under the skirt is much more fitted than the part you see, which can slightly bulge the pocket on the right hand side, probably due to the zipper. It still worked for me, but just barely. I have 40" hips and a 25" waist though, so fit is always tricky.
