This was my second option dress for a black tie event with a Great Gatsby theme. I did love the dress. However, a few issues for me: the neckline was not fitted very well- very loose, the material is very stretchy but my heel kept getting stuck in it when walking around, and the hem is an odd ruffled look. The back is pretty too! Nice deep V but not too much skin. The front definitely would need a few stitches put in at the top of the shoulders to keep it from falling open and flashing every one all night. And i wish the hem was more straight. All in all, GORGEOUS dress- just not for me.

This was my first ever RTR rental. I looked through countless reviews and photos and measured myself twice. I decided on the 12L and 10L. I am 5' 9" with a 36C bust, 165#. I have packed on few unneeded pounds this past year and wanted something to hide my gut but still show off my figure. This dress was perfect! I probably could have fit into the 10 but i think they shipped me a regular length 10 instead of a long so i tried on the 12L and it was just a little bit roomier- enough to wear my imperfect stomach area was hidden but i still had room to dance. The 10 did fit however besides the length, the thigh area was tight (the dress flares out at the knees), which means i probably wouldn't have been able to dance and walk as easily. The front area fit very nicely, i don't plan on wearing a bra; however, I may bring some fashion tape with me just to prevent any unnecessary views when leaning over... The dress is somewhat heavy so I definitely wouldn't be wearing it outside in the heat. The cut out area is only on the right side, which I assumed was on both sides, but it still looks phenomenal. The black tie event I will be attending in 2 days is an indoor black tie event with a Great Gatsby theme! I'm VERY excited to try this on with my accessories! Look forward to renting again!
