I am 5'3.5" and this a bit short and tight for work. It is not 39.5 inches from shoulder to hem. I still wore it, but I would recommend sizing up. Otherwise a cute day-to-night dress.

I normally wear a 4 or 6 (and wear a 4 in Nha Kahn's other dresses). Unfortunately, I could not wear this one. The waist on this dress was too tight and the back, shoulder, and bust area was too large. I would have had to wear the 6, and still struggle to breath, and then safety pin the sheer paneling in the back because there is just so much of it. Maybe it's my height, but it just fit awkwardly everywhere.

LOVE this dress. Rented it twice. It is very easy to wear, stretchy material and very comfortable. Flares out at natural waist. It hit me about 2 inches above the knee and I am 5'4", so much longer than the model. The only issue I had was that the 4 fit, but the zipper kept splitting when I put it on. It would have been nice to wear the 4 because it was a little tighter, but the 6 was fine. RTR was great and sent me another, but it split again! If you are narrower on top, definitely size down, but if not get your normal size.

The color of this dress is amazing. It was a little bit too prom-y for my event, so I didn't wear it. It fit true to size through the bust and was stretchy, making for a flattering fit. It was super long. I had the regular and it was about 3 inches too long with 4 inch heels on.

This was my first choice, but unfortunately it didn't work out. The 6 overwhelmed my torso, was too big, and didnt fall in the right places. The 4 fit better but the jersey stretch slinky material was not flattering from the back or the side. The V fell about 3 inches below my bust which was a little too much for me. The two straps in the back were too long on both of the sizes and I wish that I could have tightened the halter to pull it up a bit. With the right fit, could have been really pretty. I'm 5'4" and with 3ish inch heels it hit right at the floor, maybe even a tad on the short side, so if you're taller and want to do heels do the long.

I was rushed this dress when my order didn't work out. Even though I'm short, I wore a 6L because that was all they had. Of course, it was extremely long on my 5'4" frame. I pinned up both the interior sequin part (about 5 inches) and the chiffon overlay. It still skimmed the floor, but I thought it looked elegant. The dress is tight through the bodice, especially right at the waist, but has a lot of stretch so you'll be able to squeeze into it. It is also a little larger around the very top so it doesn't produce the armpit bulge which is a plus. Good for larger busts too. It was surprisingly comfortable with the stretch and I was comfortable throughout the whole night. It can be done formal, but can be dressed down a little. Definitely a unique dress!

This dress definitely runs big. I didn't even need to unzip it to put it on. The 6 hit me at the knee and was huge. The 4 hit me about 2 inches above the knee. The person before me had pinned the 4 to cinch it at the waist and I kept the pin in to give it a little more shape. The lace on the back is beautiful, but the lace area is not as large as it seems in this picture, so it is still super conservative. Only thing is that you can't wear a bra and because it is loose, it makes for kind of a weird fit around the bust. Beautiful dress though! Needs a statement necklace or earrings because the front is very plain.

It is also super short (and I am pretty short), so taller girls beware. I was kind of worried about the shoulder pads because I have broader shoulders, but they worked. Wore with nude wedges. Loved!

The wrap dress is super flattering and will work well with most figures, I think. The color is vibrant and will stand out and if you are tall this might be short on you. It was about mid thigh on me. I wore with nude heals and a short, bright colored necklace. The hem along the wrap part was unraveled when I received it which was annoying, but it did not affect the dress at all.

I rented this for a weekend vacation and wore it day to night. Can spicen up a casual day time outfit or work with a busier outfit at night.

I rented a size small. I really wanted to like this dress, but there is a lot of material and it just overwhelmed my shorter figure. The torso was way too long and the dress was overall a bit long. The cut made me look very boxy. The material is also a lot thicker than I had imagined. A bra is definitely necessary to help keep you in place.

This dress was smaller than other DVFs I have worn and rented. I wore the 6. It was very tight around the bust, so I would definitely size up if you are larger there. The mirrors were a bit scratched and worn and the smaller size I rented came with a small stain. Despite being a little constricting during dancing, the dress looked great and flattering in pictures!

I am short and this dress was short on me. Very flattering and the fabric is very forgiving as it is stretchy. I am usually between a 4 and a 6 and the 4 worked for me. The fabric is not as shiny as it appears in the picture and the dress was a bit work when I received it. I didn't wear it because it was my backup, but definitely a safe bet for a night out.
