Take your pictures early, because this fabric WILL wrinkle after sitting through the program at a formal dinner. The bust and waist are quite fitted - but run pretty true to size. If you've got a bigger bust, size UP for sure! The skirt is soft, flowy and comfortable, and the pockets are a plus! I LOVED how this dress set me apart from the bland black floor-length dresses that dominated the event. Its fun and youthful, but elegant and classy enough to pull off at a black-tie event. I paired it with a navy suede pump with gold buckles, and subtle gold ring & cuff.

I rented this for the post-party after a formal ball, and it was AMAZING... It fit perfect, I feel like it would fit any body type... a very easy to wear dress. The snake pattern of the sequins is just enough. I'm not big on crazy patterns or animal print, and it was a good step out of my comfort zone without being too crazy. It also makes the dress more appropriate if you're looking to dress it up for a more formal occasion. The shoulder has a pretty sizable shoulder pad - but frankly, it gives that special touch, that "wow" that makes this dress a bit more fashionable than every other "vanilla" one-shoulder mini. The only downfall I can imagine is how TERRIBLY raw the underside of your arm is after rubbing against the armhole (its only on the one side)... but as a stylist once told me "fashion is pain darling"... and this dress is worth it!

As was aptly described on the site, the top is extremely fitted, and even though I sized up my C-cup girls would NOT fit in this dress - it literally wouldn't even zip. I wasn't sure about the proportions of the color blocking and skirt flaring... It just didn't really flatter. I'm sure it would have been more appropriate on a very slender, petite, flat chested girl. Its also VERY short - exaggerated by how far out the skirt flares (the material is very stiff, so it doesn't fall against the body - it really does hold that bell shape.)

BEAUTIFUL DRESS. The top fits true to size, but I was looking for a slinky, curve hugging look and this dress did NOT deliver. You really must have to have a booty to fill out the hips of this dress as the model in the photo. It hung beautiful from the waist up, sloppy from the waist down. Aside from that, I loved the feel of the material, and the color was stunning. I'm 5'10" and wouldn't have been able to wear heels with it. Don't let my somewhat dissatisfied review deter you though - if you've got a good booty - go for it! This is truly a beautiful dress.
