The wedding event I was attending was a black tie wedding with attire noted as black and white, but black being strongly encouraged. I ordered one dress in two sizes months in advance, only to have RTR come back the Monday prior and tell me one size was no longer available, so I could choose up to two more for consideration. There were only two black dresses in my size range left, so I crossed my fingers! The intended dress wasn't going to cut it, the second dress was too exposed, and this dress became the one. I hadn't travelled with the correct undergarments, but I had enough time to make the necessary purchases (black multi-adjustable strapless/one shoulder bra did the trick + Megababe anti-chafe stick)! I received glowing compliments on the cut and style of the dress, not to mention the sequins! The slit goes up quite high, so I tended to keep my partner on my left for assurance. As many others have shared, the only issue I experienced with this dress was the sequins under the left arm. After about 6 hours of wearing the dress, the sequins under my left arm was really starting to bother me (another reason to keep your date on your left, so you can put your arm around them and keep it off the sequins). Otherwise, would recommend this dress!

Everything about this dress was phenomenal, from the weight of the entire piece, to the sheer overlay with embroidered flowers. As MOH for a June wedding in humid MN, I felt like it was the perfect option to support the bride's (not white) dress. I received so many compliments throughout the evening that I am considering purchasing this dress. I wore it with a strapless bra and never had an issue with needing to readjust. 12/10 loved loved loved it.

I went with the 20W because it felt better around my big butt, and because it seemed to have all of its sequins still attached! It felt like new and I felt like it suited me and the occasion so well, I couldnt wait to put it on and didn't want to take it off! I will abslutely remt again - I felt like a thousand bucks!

Fit was comfortable and flexible. The dress was so comfortable (despite at 5'10", a regular length would have been better). I received so many compliments at the Halloween parties I attended. The skirt narrows between your hip and the seam which is to be expected with this style. Be aware you may not be comfortable sitting for long periods of time or without something to cover your legs (like the table during our dinner reception) because you will likely need to hike up the skirt to sit comfortably. The color to the dress varies from photo to photo and depends on the lighting of the area. I kept jewelry to a minimum to let the dress speak for itself! The only oddity here is that I'm not sure the 18 was properly cleaned before I received it. Within ten minutes of putting the dress on my neck was swollen and breaking out in an allergic reaction. Thankfully it was only there and not a full body reaction. I wore the dress despite this reaction and tried not to be too conscious of what was happening between my face and the dress..
