I loved this is every way other than the single, very tight sleeve. I’m a former college swimmer, so this made it hard to wear. Seems unnecessary, could have added a bit of stretch in the shoulder.

I have an hourglass shape (45, 34, 44) and large bust (38DD) and the fit of this dress was absolutely perfect (going with typical US size charts, this is roomy in the bust for a 14R)! It has some built in cups and tons of bust support, so no need to wear a bra (or even pasties for nip coverage). It was so comfortable and gorgeous, I got compliments all night long. One thing to note is that it's quite long, and I wore short heels (I am 5' 7", 4" heels would have probably been perfect), so I had to be careful to not step on it. Highly recommend for the busty ladies out there!

I love all Dress the Population dresses and they tend to fit me very well and predictably. I am 5' 7" and 185 lbs. I have a large chest and wide back which this brand tends to accommodate. I ordered my usual size (XXL) and definitely should have gone with the XL. The dress was very roomy and would have been more figure-flattering had I ordered a size down. I was a little disappointed in the straps--I think someone must have squeezed into the dress and stretched them out (the fabric was visibly thinner where they were stitched to the dress). They felt like they were going to snap at any minute and I had to keep readjusting them. The color of the dress is absolutely stunning in person, and I imagine if you get the correct size and one that's not been stretched out (that's on RTR, they need to do better QA/QC) you will be very happy.

I am a true size 12 with 40" hips and I couldn't even get the 12 past them. The 14 wasn't much better--the hip portion was so tight it made the fabric bunch up at the waist and was unwearable. The sizing is so odd--the bust is a bit tight if you're larger chested, but the waist is loose. I would only select this style if you have very narrow hips and even then I would make sure to order up a size or two.

I ordered this in a large and extra large and ended up wearing the large. I typically wear a size 8-10 pant but have to size up in dresses at least a size or two to accommodate my chest (36DDD, 43" bust). The XL was very roomy and I preferred the form fitting L. My chest fit into the dress without any discomfort or spillage (hooray!). The dress cinched my waist without accentuating my lower belly fat. I loved the beautiful emerald color and detail of the lace. I did not have any issues with my rental--everything arrived on time exactly as ordered, dresses were all clean and did not show any signs of wear. Will definitely order again for special events.
