Gorgeous, not as heavy as I was expecting
I rented these for a 1920s/Speakeasy party because they have a great Art Deco look. I was worried they'd be heavy enough to make my ears hurt by the end of the night, but it was not a problem. They are a little on the long side, but even at my height (5'3) I think they fit great, and I got a ton of compliments.

Fantastic dress, more fitted than the photo
I rented this for a 1920s/Speakeasy-themed party, and contacted the RTR stylists for suggestions, and they were incredibly helpful. The fit on the model looks a bit A-line, but on was much more fitted. I ordered the 0 and the 2 as a back-up, and they both could have worked, but neither would have had an A-line look. I have a little more in the hip area, but not too much, and even with that I couldn't really figure out how the A-line would have happened. I ended up going with the 0 because the 2 was puckering a bit in the back for being too loose. I'm on the shorter side (5'3) and it still fit pretty short, definitely mid-thigh area. I got tons of compliments- the gold was even more sparkly than you can tell in the photo. I"ll definitely be looking for a reason to try and rent this dress again for the right party.

Gorgeous sparkly dress
This dress is beautiful, and on me (5'3) was not as short as on the model in the photo. It felt mostly comfortable and the darker gray of the non-sequins material looked very pretty. The dress overall looked very classy and nice. I wear a 0, and ordered this in a 2 as my back-up (wore the Nicole Miller shooting star dress) because the other didn't have the 2/backup available. I did not end up wearing this dress, but I'd love to find an occasion to wear it in my correct size another time.

fun sparkly party dress, needs nubra
I rented this dress for a sequins themed party, it was great because the fit (and low neckline) are attractive and fun, but the blue isn't too attention-grabbing (balance out the low neckline). The angle on this photo is terrible and not flattering, but will give you an idea of the fit: I'm always a little nervous about the length, but for me (5'3) it was short enough. There is no structure in the bust and it is not as fitted as other Nicole Miller dresses similar to this (I'm thinking the Arctic Mist gown), so it won't help you with the cleavage if you're on the smaller side (I'm a B-), so without a bra this was not super flattering. I used a NuBra (the adhesive kind) and it was perfect (actually looked extra boobulous). I was worried about chafing given the other reviews, and I did have a little bit, but only in the armpit area and a small amount, nothing lasting, not a big deal at all. The dress has some stretch and is overall very comfortable to wear. The straps are a tad tight to get on, but I don't think that any looser would make a good fit. They didn't feel tight once on.

This dress was beautiful and felt super fancy and fun! Perfect for my bachelorette party!
This dress runs LONG- I had to tape up a good 2-3 inches for it to look appropriate. The "silver" was much more of a shiny bluish- was very pretty, but I am glad another reviewer mentioned it so I would know what to expect.

The dress was fantastic and garnered compliments all night, was fancy, comfy, and beautiful!
I ordered the 2 and the 0 expecting to wear the 0-- but, the 0 was a smidge tight. However, the 2 was much too large and wouldn't work. There was a strange difference between the two dresses: the liner on the 2 was a little shorter than the outer layer, the way it would make sense for it to be. The liner on the 0 was more than a full inch, two inches in some spots, longer than the outer layer of the dress. It looked like it could work, but comparing the two, I just did not understand the difference. I was expecting some fashion tape accompany the rental, but it did not; but luckily I happened to have some athletic tape with me (usually have a roll in my luggage) and I taped it up- which worked fine.

I did not wear this because it showed more skin than I was expecting
You can't tell from the model photos (and I did not look at enough of the user photos), but this dress hangs very low in the front and the back, and is very open on the sides- the two straps that go over the shoulders must be tied in a creative fashion to keep it all closed up-- it would have been amazing for a super hot date or a different night- but I had picked this out for a party that my parents were attending, I am glad I got a 2nd dress. It has great potential, but it was not for this event.

This dress fits great and can be dressed up or down- I dressed down and got overwhelming complements
This dress fits just loose enough to be comfortable, the waist is elastic and allows for just enough ruffle to make it perfect to eat at a party (or on a date) where you'll be eating plenty- hides that "goldfish meter" as I call it. It was super comfortable and I got a million complements all night
