I think a lot of different types of bodies can at least fit in this dress, the question would be about how flattering. Both dresses I received, the 10 and 12, fit well enough. I ended up wearing the 12 just because it was slightly more flattering. Overall, I think this dress was cute, fun, and comfortable (and I didn't have too much trouble with the zipper, which I appreciate; we all know how irritating flimsy zippers are) but I don't think this dress was very flattering. It hits at a low place so it extenuated my already large hips. It fit well, and had no problems so I think this would be a good back-up option because it's a safe bet, but it's not a "wow" dress. Depending on the dress the print will vary. For example, my size 10 seemed less faded and had the darker part of the print was by the neckline, so I actually thought the 10 was prettier than the 12 in terms of pattern (even though it's the same overall pattern - hope this makes sense), so just be aware that it might not look EXACT. It was light, and I wore it all day on the beach in 80 degree weather and then I danced. It's classy and cute, but not a showstopper.

The color is beautiful and vibrant in person, but different than the picture (camera flash changes it). It's much deeper than shown, and the shoulder part is a tan, just so you're not surprised. Still beautiful! I received size 12 and 10 and 12 worked best for me. The zipper is VERY hard to get up past the ribcage where the 'belt'/waist is, even when it's not on. It fit decently well and could have been worn, but I just wasn't comfortable in it and ended up returning it. I'm bigger on the bottom and I feel like the full skirt and tighttt waist wasn't flattering and it was slightly uncomfortable. Just wasn't what I was looking for. Overall I would recommend this dress to a blonde (dress color would compliment better) pear shape and has a more slender ribcage. Also, would not recommend to an athletic build with bigger chest (imo), my sister tried it on and it wasn't working too well. Great for a summer wedding! Try it as a back-up because it's a safe rental, but there might be something more comfortable if you're similar to me or my sister. (Btw, in this picture the dress is not zipped past the waist because it was too much effort to try that hard just for a quick picture; not laziness but just goes to show how hard the zipper is! But it looks the same zipped, just cuts a little more into the sides.)

This dress, in theory, is adorable and easy. Everyone in the review pictures look effortlessly cute. But in reality, at least for me, it was just the opposite. I'm a true pear-shape and usually a 10 is my size in every dress. I ordered the 10 and 12. The 10 fit the best, but still looked big! It seem like it just swallowed me up and was much longer on me, almost past the knees. Overall, it just didn't work for my body shape. I wouldn't recommend this dress, but if you're in love I'd recommend a tall and larger chested girl wear it. Size down!!

Hands down literally the best dress I've ever rented from RTR and I've rented quite a few. It was effortless. Compliments from both my girl and guy friends! It could go from a party to formal affair, if wore right. It's short, but wearable. I can't say enough about this dress. I, honestly, think everyone should at LEAST rent this as a back up. It would work for any body type, which is rare. It hits at just the right area, very flattering. I am usually a size 10-12, and the 8 fit me so I would say it runs large.The only down side, is that it's very narrow in the top for me. If you have a bigger chest, I don't know if you'd be able to zip up. I'm very small on top, and it was a snug fit. No one else seemed to have this problem though, so go for it. RENT RENT RENT! I would buy this dress if they had a size 10...or the money ;D

First, can I just say that this dress is beautiful in person and the color is perfect or any occasion, honestly. It fit perfectly on top and through the stomach but it barely got over my butt. I wish it would have worked out, it was perfect (Ordered it with the Super Sexy Cuff, works great with the color p.s). Customer service is very helpful and prompt when telling them about the fit problem, unfortunately I couldn't get a replacement in time, but it was worked out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for girls with big hips or butt, but would recommend this times ten if that's not a problem area.

I wore this dress to my junior prom and it was wonderful! I got sizes 10 and 12 and both fit pretty well. I have a small bust so the 12 fit very loss on the the top. The 10 fit perfectly on the top but the bottom layer, that is a little tighter, was pretty snug on my bottom but it didn't really matter because there is really flowy material over it. I ended up wearing the 10 and through the night, probably because i was dancing and all, it seemed to stretch out and get pretty lose which was kind of annoying but it didn't ruin it for me. dress is pretty long and hard to manage in certain aspects. and if the event is outside where it's windy, i don't suggest wearing this gown (you'll be holding it the whole time to keep it settled down). Also the color is a little more dusty in person, not as lightlight pink but very similar. Overall the dress was a hit and I recommend it for tall/slender people.

not a big fan of this dress. The fabric is really thick and heavy, so not ideal for dancing or anything like that. The color was much deeper than appears in the picture. It was pretty but I felt like it kind of swallowed me up. Although, there is a lot of fabric in the front so if you're uncomfortable with that part of your body, you won't feel unselfconscious while wearing this dress. Wouldn't recommend this dress though.

This dress, it's texture and color, is beautiful in person. You well not be disappointed, I thought it looked so much prettier in person which was surprising! It was pretty short for what I'm used to and I never usually have problems with shortness, but it didn't stop me from wearing it. It fit great otherwise. Not great to dance in though, I felt like the lining was always inching up.
