It has strings in the front to wear as a shirt I guess but I wanted it open more like a cover up so I had to tuck the front strings into my pockets or they would dangle to the ground in the front

Not for me, sizing issue
The halter part was way too long for me and it's not adjustable. I wore my hair down and safety pinned it so that it would bring the top up where it needed to be. It is tailored so there is a specific place where it needs to lay for the space tailored for your bust. May work for people with larger bust or rib cages. The idea is cute and it's a nice top but the sizing was not right for my proportions.

Fit great but little stretch
Worked great for me with a small chest. There is very little stretch in the midi skirt area which wasn't a problem for walking but was hard to get in and out of cars where I had to lift one leg up first.

Interesting neckline but kind of sporty
There is also a noticeable permanent white tag on the back of the top at the bottom. You can hide it by tucking the shirt in but I didn't like it.

I didn’t love how wide these legs were. The zipper wouldn’t close all the way but you couldn’t really tell because you could still use the hook closure at the top.

Very thin and a little sheer
This came with tags on and was perfect. It was slightly sheer so I wore a black bra. It was very comfortable and the pattern was subtle but still interesting. It is very thin material and seemed like it might snag easily so I didn’t wear some gold cuff bracelets that I was planning to because I didn’t want to snag the dress.

The cut of the dress is dressy but its material is like a thick cotton that feels more casual. It wrinkles really easily and I don’t think it is the right cut for my body type. Not good for small busted people - it’s hard to tell in the photo because my arms are lifted but it didn’t sit well on the top.

The lower set of frills hit me in a weird spot. Very stretchy so that was nice. Felt like I didn’t fill out the top but it was stretchy enough to not matter that much.

Fun and flirty
It is sheer so I wore a black lace bra. There are 2 ties in the front that keep it together. The ruffles and bell sleeves were fun although I had to be careful of the sleeves at dinner. The ruffles at the bottom made my hips look a little wide when worn with jeans.

A little wide but still chic
I got a lot of compliments for such a basic piece. It was too wide around my ribcage and hips but it looked good still and others couldn't tell. I have a pretty small ribcage/waist area. Not very stretchy but I didn't need it to be. Well cut. Room for a long sleeve underneath in autumn.
