I'm 5'1" and found that I couldn't comfortably raise my arms up to tie my hair or bend over to adjust my shoes without feeling uncomfortable! The style itself is very cute and I loved the tie waist and pockets, though the material looked quite a bit older and wrinkly compared to the photos.

I rented this for a concert. It was actually a last-minute suggestion from a stylist since the correct size for my original selection was unavailable. This turned out to be a better choice for my event (shout out to stylist Hannah for all her help!). It's a decent length so if you're on the more petite side it may not look as cropped, depending on the bottoms you wear it with (I wore a very high-waisted skirt). The cut outs on the back are really fun, and I could actually wear a bra with this (black strapless, you could only see the band if you raised your arms up and since it was black it blended in with the rest of the back). I have a very petite upper body with a smaller chest, so this was on the looser side, but wearing the strapless bra with some padding helped fill it out more in the front and make the cutouts lie flatter on my back. I didn't mind this looser fit since it made it very comfortable for dancing around and it didn't squeeze in my sides. I would definitely rent this again!
