I rented this dress for a 90's theme prom. It's simple so was perfect for accessorizing. The slit in the leg made it more fun and sexy and wasn't too much in my opinion - it only went up a few inches above my knee on me. My only complaint is that there was a little bit of bunching happening in the back, below my buns. I think because of the slit, the fabric was looser are my legs and the top layer of fabric was slipping down in the back. By no means was this a deal breaker and I would wear the dress again (especially for this price!).

Wore this dress for an outdoor wedding that ended up being 100+ during the ceremony. The dress was lightweight, flowy and as comfortable as 100 degrees can be. I got a ton of compliments and especially liked the slit in the leg that was cute but not too showy for a wedding. My only issue with it was the length. I wore the smaller of the two sizes and wore 4" heels to help but still had to pick up the dress while walking for fear of tripping. That being said, I'm only 5'3" so if you're taller, it shouldn't be an issue.
