Beautiful, bright color, but short
I loved the bright color of this dress, but it was incredibly short on me. I was nervous dancing throughout the night. The dress is boxy (which is adorable) and because it doesn't hug your body, when you raise your arms up the already short hemline is pulled up even higher. I got many compliments on this beautiful dress but it would have been better for someone a little shorter or younger than me. (I am 5'5" and 30 yrs old).

Beautiful, minimalist dress for a formal event
I rented this dress for a black tie wedding in September. Black Tie is not really my thing as I prefer to be more minimalist and laid back in my clothing, so this simple dress was perfect. It's stylish and very classy with clean lines. Love that it's navy instead of black. The cutout in the back adds a touch of sex appeal which is necessary as the neckline for this is pretty high. It was a little tight on me through the hips, so I'd size up if you are worried about having room in that area. Also, I am 5'5 and the length was perfect for me with a moderate heel (3 in"). I'd order the long if you are taller than average height so that you have options with footwear :)

Nice splash of drama for a simple dress
I ordered this as a contrast to a very simple navy gown. Loved that it added some sparkle without taking away from the minimalism of the dress.

I wanted to love this dress, but the fit was off.
I love the design of this dress, but the fit is tough. It is cut very straight through the hips and is a little difficult to dance/move around in. The boatneck was wide on me and kept falling off my shoulders, but the sleeves were tight in the arms. On the plus side, the material is thick and comfortable. it was perfect for a winter event. I just wish it had fit me better because I did not feel confident in it!

I felt very classy and ladylike...and received tons of compliments!
I love Zac Posen dresses. His designs are feminine, classy, and sexy at the same time! I loved this dress. It has a bit of stretch to the material, which helps it hug your curves. The flare and modest length keep it appropriate for a wedding or formal party. Also, it's navy blue, not black, which was a nice change from the usual LBD.

Tons of compliments on both the dress and color. Wish I owned it!
I wanted to order a size 2, but only sizes 0 and 4 were available. The 4 was much to large...the material is a bit stretchy and the dress is made to accentuate curves. I'd recommend sizing down if you are in the same predicament as me...The only problem with the zero was that it pulled a bit on my hips. I think the 2 would have been perfect. The length of the dress is not too short, which I liked for a wedding.
