This top was awesome, it just wasn't the right style for my body. It made me look boxy. The fabric, print, and quality were great though.

In the picture, this sweater looks like a slightly cropped sweater that could pair well with a high-waisted pair of jeans, but when I tried it on, there was a good four-inch gap between my waistband and the bottom of the sweater. Not great for those who are tall or have long torsos

I normally wear a 26 in jeans, but that was unavailable so I went with the 27. When I went to try them on I couldn't pull them all the way up because the calves were tiny, but I could tell the they were going to be too big in the waist anyway. So they run big and small. Pretty annoying.

We had a fundraising gala.
This dress was really great. The length was perfect with heels. The train was a great touch. It fit well in the hips, but was a bit roomy in the waist and very large in the bust. That's typical for me as a pear shape (34-25-37). I wore a belt to cinch the waist in. Lots of compliments. It definitely stands out in a sea of black and navy gowns. I might try it again in my usual size 2 for other events.

I had a fundraising gala coming up.
I didn't end up wearing this anywhere. The only size available was the 4L. I typically wear a 2R or a 2L so I knew it was a long shot that this would work. Even though I got the long, it still felt a bit short in the torso, but it was super long overall. I'm 5'7 but even four-inch heels wouldn't have been quite tall enough. It has potential for other body types. I might try it again in another size.

We had theater tickets.
This dress was a great color with some really great, understated details. I'll likely rent it again if I need a cocktail dress. The only issue was the sizing. I felt like I was swimming in the size 2, which is my typical size.

We had a few date nights coming up so I rented four different dresses.
This dress was interesting, but also very clingy. I typically wear size 2 and went with the small. I had no problem getting it on, but wish I'd gotten the medium, then I wouldn't have felt like a stuffed sausage. The fabric was very thick and very stretchy. Not my favorite, but can see how it would fit a lot of different body shapes.
