Great and flattering dress for the curvier girl. Very retro. Only complaint is that sitting down, the rib cage area was a bit tight. Overall, was very flattering though and I got a lot of compliments. Wore to the office with a cardigan and/or a blazer to wear to a more formal cocktail hour.

This dress was super cute! I rented as part of unlimited and loved the way it fit and flattered my pear shaped body. I paired with a cardigan for the office. Then wore on a date later. I loved the color of the dress, but make sure you wear spanks as all your imperfections will show as you can see in my tummy area. I wore a suit jacket over the dress to make a little more professional for work. Also -- I wore the 8 which fit great in the hip area, but was loose on top around the shoulders/opening.

This dress is a great color and has some give in the fabric so is good for curvier ladies. However, not sure if this was the way the dress was made or my body type messing with the fabric, but the over lay was shorter than the under part in the back so it looked kind of bad, ultimately making me not want to wear it. If it weren't for that, I would have worn. It's a flattering dress -- but maybe still wear some spanx just to smooth things out, although the fabric will bunch in the right places to distract from curvier areas.

The top was a little loose actually and the bottom was too tight. I'm a 34C bra size and about 145-150 lbs and usually a size 6-8. I am usually able to get away with a 6 in dresses, but the bottom of this dress had no give what so ever and was super tight around the hips. I would have ripped the dress most likely if I'd actually worn it. If you have large hips or a big bottom -- I'd suggest sizing up.

I really loved this dress, but the reviews are correct in that it's a bit sparkly and ended up being too dressy for the event I wanted to wear it for. I even tried toning it down with a blazer, but it still was pretty bright and the blazer didn't cut off at the right spot and I just looked frumpy. The top is also a little big. I should've got the size down, since the bottom is fairly forgiving if you're curvy.

This was my original dress I ordered for my cousin's wedding. I ordered a 2L and 4L (the 2R and 4R were unavailable). However, at the last minute, the 2L was no longer available due to excessive damage by the person that rented it before me. RTR was great and contacted me and offered me an alternate dress as well as still sending this one in the 4L that was still available. I ended up wearing the alternate dress (Pamela Roland - Sands of Croatia) because it was definitely the more beautiful gown, and the fit looked better not being a strapless. The Nicole Miller fit my body great in the 4L, however, the fabric was slightly snagged in spots (but you would never notice in a photo or from a distance). It was also slightly long with 4.5 inch heels, but not too bad.

This dress was absolutely GORGEOUS. I received compliments all night on it and was told by several people that it was the best dress of the evening (besides the bride's). RTR was so great in accommodating me after my original Nicole Miller rental was returned damaged by the person before me and shipped me this dress as an alternate. I ordered the size 2L and 4L (the 2R and 4R were unavailable). The 2L wouldn't zip; the 4L fit like a glove, however, was definitely too long, even with 4.5 inch heels. I used fabric tape to hem the bottom, but still had to hold the dress to avoid stepping on it while walking and dancing because of the train in the back. I felt like a million bucks. Also, the dress looks like it has some gold tones to it in the photos on RTR, but in person is more silver. Silver jewelry matches better than gold (fortunately I had my silver earrings on backup). I wore nude heels with sequins on them. My only negative on this dress is that the size 4L seemed to have a weird bubble of extra fabric near the front slit that seemed like the dress wasn't sewn properly (the size 2L did not have that bubble). But overall, this dress was AMAZING. I didn't want to send it back. Thank you RTR for making my cousin's wedding so picture perfect and accommodating an alternate dress at the last minute!

This dress was really nice and flattering, especially to the bust line and in hiding any problem areas in the waste. I ordered the 4 and 6, and the 4 fit perfect, maybe even a little big. The dress is definitely not as short as shown in the picture, at least not on me, and I'm 5'5". It was more knee length. I ended up not wearing it for the event because it was too dressy and loud for the political function I was going to. Also, the sequens are a little itchy at the bottom and underarms. Would have definitely worn for another event though.

I rented this for my fancy birthday dinner that my boyfriend was taking me to. I rented both the 4 and 6, the 4 was a little snug around the hip and butt area, so I went with wearing the 6 instead so I could be comfortable. I got TONS of compliments from people at the restaurant that thought the dress was gorgeous, and my boyfriend loved it too. I also wore it the day after to a political function with a lot of elected officials and campaign people. I figured it was ok to wear it again since it looked so great. I did have another dress for the political function, but it was too dressy for the event, and this one was just dressy enough without being over dressed.
