I got lots of compliments on this dress. It's a heavy, stretchy fabric with really interesting embroidery both front and back. I had to apply 4 strips of fashion tape to make the top fit without gaps, but the stretch in the fabric hid all of my adjustments. The thickness of the fabric also means you don't need to wear a bra if you don't want to. I would not want to wear this in the summer - it's just too heavy. The embroidery and neckline are so decorated, you don't need to mess around with a lot of accessories.

As other reviewers have said, this dress is very short. I expected a 3 inch drop or so, but this dress ended at my crotch line. I have been wondering if it was meant as a petite, because the side pockets started well above my waist. The white is more of a cream color - not the bright white I see on my laptop. Not a problem - just unexpected. I would say go for it if you are a petite. The dress is a style stand-out - I wish it had worked for me!
