boxy fit
I didn't wear this jacket because it was still too warm out for end of summer. maybe an extra small would've looked better. If it had looked good, I would've worn it despite the warm weather.

Be aware this is a short short dress. For someone in her 50’s it might be too youthful.
The fabric is a bright stiff cotton. Elastic in waist fits nicely without needing adjusting. I wore shorts underneath just so I wouldn’t feel naked.

Fun bright fabric
Cute top but had some perma wrinkles in the sleeve. Other reviews stated it was tight in the rib cage but was fine for me. I could see if larger breasted wouldn't be able to keep buttons closed .

Great summer top
This top is perfect for smaller chested women. It lays flat in the center to show off curves. I kept it for a whole month and would've bought it but dry clean only.
