I really liked this dress - I was a little nervous that the cape might be silly, but it actually looked great. I think I could have loved this if it has just been my husband and I at the wedding - easy to walk and dance in - however, it was a kid friendly wedding and we had our toddler in tow. The way the cape/arms are cut made it difficult to be as flexible as I needed to be to keep up with a toddler running about and needing to be held, reaching for toys, etc. So, good note for mommas out there - this is a sans-kid affair dress ;) Also, I saw great for winter because the material is heavy - it was warmer than I expected!

I loved the necklace, and rented it particularly because it was adjustable length. But, in the one I received, the lariat style adjuster would not stay in place, so within a few minutes, the necklace weight would just lengthen it. It ended up working fine at the long length but still would have liked the adjustability to 'stick' - otherwise great piece!

I had a baby eight months ago, and was attending a Midwest wedding in July where it was more than a hundred degrees out. None of my cocktail dresses were going to hold up in that, or allow me any access to pump (as I'm still nursing). I ordered this Trina Turk and was SO pleased. The material has good structure to hang well as a shift, but was not too warm. The lining was comfortable and the zipper back was very accessible (no help needed - making it pumping friendly). I'm fairly short, and I felt like the length was just about perfect. I adored the color and the sleeves, and think they really turn the dress into something cute. Rather than a chunky necklace, I went with a longer lariat style necklace and pave studs to be a little more formal. Definitely runs pretty true to size - I'm a full busy normally and even more so with nursing, so expected to wear the 12 - but the 10 was comfortable and more flattering. Paired it with floral heels and got tons of compliments!
