Swallowed Me Whole
I had been dreaming of wearing this dress to our company's annual opening night reception for months (orange and green are our company colors). I kept checking back from 2 months out hoping it would become available for the dates I needed in my size... it never did. I took a chance on the medium because I wanted it to work so bad, but unfortunately it was a tent. I would love to try it again in my size. Also, disappointed that there were no pockets as there is ample room in the dress for them.

Typical high-waisted skinny jean
From the way these were photographed on the model, I thought I was receiving a vintage/ casual fit-looser cotton denim (should have read the description more carefully). These are just your average pair of skinny stretchy/legging jeans that happen to be high waisted. Comfortable but nothing special about them, w/ blended/ synthetic material. Waist stretched out quickly, would need to be washed between each wear. I'm a 6-8 and the 29 fit well. They were flattering but not what I was looking for.

Look like old money, get compliments
I loved this from the moment I put it on, fit my (almost) tall-ish frame like a glove. Proportionally, I'm more legs than torso, and could see where the length from the natural waist to the shoulders/ shoulder pads could be long on someone shorter, and show more cleavage. Full disclosure, I did tack (temporarily) the area above the top button for a slightly more conservative/ business look. I was able to wear it to 4 events before sending it back; mom's rehearsal dinner, healthcare donors luncheon at a local yacht club (where I channeled Marge Simpson in her vintage Chanel suit), local government affairs business meeting, and a young professionals business leaders event (thankfully no overlapping attendees). I received too many compliments to count!!!

Formalize your look
I've rented this blazer multiple times and thrown it over a black silk jumpsuit for a black tie event, and a blouse and black wool pleated trousers for a business presentation. It took both outfits to the next level and is very flattering. I'm between a 6/8 on top with 34/36 c1/2 and have rented the 6 both times. It brings you in at the waist and has room for my breasts without pulling. Keep sleeve length in mind as you go up in size.

Great Oversized Jacket for End of Summer
I am a S/M on top or 6/8 (usually 6 on top and 8 on bottom) I rented the Small in the jacket due to the other renters' advice even though RTR recommended the Medium. I am GLAD I did. The jacket is meant to fit oversized and I would like to try the XS to compare the two sizes. The pants are a different story and run a tad small. I rented the Large in the pants (following the other renter's advice) but may have been able to do the Medium since I had a little room. I think if you are petite and smaller than a 4 (maybe 2 depending on your height), then this jacket will swallow you in even the XXS.

Thoughtful Detailing Added Something a Little Different
Easy and breezy, not see-through though I was worried for a second it might be when pulling it out of the bag. Great detailing. Wore it will jeans to a baseball game. Wore it with the Toteme cream suit for a work function. Would rent again.

2nd Time Renting this Lightweight Flattering Blazer
This is my 2nd time renting this Rebecca Taylor suit and can see myself renting it again. It's flattering and lightweight, perfect for Florida work events. Darker suits tend to be wool or another heavy fabric, but this one is easy wearing and comfortable for long meetings. True to size.

A Lopsided Unfortunate Miss
As I was pulling on this jumpsuit, I was getting kind of excited. It was easy to put on, not too tight around the hips/ butt (I think I could have sized down one), but then with I went to close it, I couldn't get it to lay correctly on one side. The blousy side that crosses over seemed unbalanced and saggy. It just looked weird and like there was too much fabric. I tried to tighten it at the side closure tie on the opposite side and sinch it down as much as possible but to no avail. The ties were also a weird length. Not quite long enough for a bow, but too long for a knot. I wonder if sizing down one to a 38 would suit me better, but not enough to waste another rental spot if it doesn't work.

Keeping These Wel-Made Mom Jeans
I am really liking this brand Toteme. I'd never heard of it or tried it before RTR. I also rented the cream suit (jacket and pants), and everything has felt so well made and thoughtfully put together (the opposite of fast fashion). I like that these jeans are 100% Cotton, with no synthetic stretchy material/ microfibers that come out in the laundry cycle and harm the planet (which helps justify the price point IMO). They were a little tight in the thighs so I am glad I followed the other renters' advice and sized up from my usual 29 to a 30. They do stretch a bit over time, but not a lot since they are 100% Cotton.

Chic Suit for End of Summer
Followed the other renters' advice and went up a size. I'm a 6-8 on the bottom and normally lean towards an 8/ Medium lately. RTR suggested the Medium, but after reading the other reviews I went with the Large, just in case. I wish I could have rented both at once and compared the two. The Large was definitely more comfortable and I could slide a few fingers between my waist and the waistband, plenty of room to tuck in my blouse. They stretched over time (I wore them 3 times) and by the end, I definitely wanted the Medium and could fit my whole hand in. If I rent again, I think I will try the Mediums. The Large was the top-end size these suit pants come in, so, unfortunately, I'd say if you are over a true sized-10 (12 and up), then these pants are NOT for you (which is a shame because it's such a cool suit). The jacket is a different story as it is meant to be oversized. I rented the Small in the jacket and might have been able to wear the Extra Small, so I'd say the opposite if you are very petite. You could pull off the smaller sizes in the pants, but the jacket would swallow you.

Ok Sweater for a Trip to Colder Climates
I rented this, and a few other basic sweaters for a trip to the northeast from Florida in December. I don't own a lot of sweaters as I don't have much need for layering. This was nothing special, but did the job. A good, flattering basic. Not too think to fit under my coat.

This Florida Girl Owns NO Coats
Rented for a trip to the northeast to visit a friend in December. Fit true to size. Was warm but not too thick that I couldn't wear a sweater or long sleeves underneath. Felt chic walking around the Princeton campus where she works. Living in Florida I would never need to purchase a coat like this, but love that I can rent one if I ever am in need of something warmer.

Great Blazer and Pattern for Florida Fall
Light weight, easy to wear. Would recommend sizing down on any oversized blazers from Madewell. Great weight for fall in Florida. Ended up purchasing the jacket from rent the runway and finding the matching pants elsewhere. Always receive compliments when I wear this set.

Perfect Something Different for a Khaki Required Uniform
I volunteered for one of the PGA Majors that requires a khaki skirt, pants, or long shorts on the bottom with an issued polo. I tucked in the polo, added a thinner brown leather belt, paired it with bright white Reebok's and my white issued visor and thought I looked super cute. Received a ton of compliments. Ended up getting the 8 since I don't have much of a waist and didn't want it to pull, or look tight. It was the right decision. Would rent for this event again.

Boxy, unflattering fit if you have anything above a B/C cup. Didn't do me any favors and made me look bigger on top than I am. Would look great on someone petite, or smaller chested.

Perfectly Suited
Loved these pants and the whole suit. I would have purchased the whole look if I could afford it. The high price point reflects the quality and craftsmanship. Lightweight even though it's 100% wool. I got both size 40/8 and 42/10 as I have gained 10 lbs since I was a 6. Both fit. The 8 fit fine through the waist but was snug through the hips. I wore the 8 in the photo, but the next day wore the 10 pants paired down w/ a blouse and white sneakers for a few meetings and a lunch. Will rent again.

Size Up for these Well Made Professional Pants
We'll-made and tailored, lined but still lightweight. I had to size up in these. I'm usually a 6 but recently gained 10 lbs and have been sizing up in all of my orders for size 8 pants. This worked well for all the other pants in my order except this style/brand. I definitely needed the 10, which fit well. If you are on the fence or between sizes, I recommend sizing up.

Nice Suit Jacket for Someone Else
I've always been short-waisted (straight up and down), and the way this jacket is so fitted, and cuts in at the waist, made me feel like it wasn't the most flattering for my body type. The pants were fine. Everything was lined and of great quality. I would rent this brand again but next time try a different style jacket. Still got lots of compliments and felt very polished.

Mom Looked Amazing!!!
I rented this dress for Mom (who is quite a bit more petite so don't go by my weight/measurements for this one -she's 5'4", 118 lbs, B cup). She looked awesome and the dress was very flattering on her. All it needed was those pasties/ stickers on her nipples and she was good to go.

Perfect Suit for our Convention Service Award
Light weight, flattering shape/cut, great quality. I would buy this suit if I could afford it. The height price point reflects the quality. 100% wool. I was worried it would be a bit heavy/hot for an Orlando business trip in July, but it was light weight and fairly breathable. Comfortable as well. I felt chic and professional. I'm about 10 lbs heavier than normal right now so I sized up to the 40/8 so I could be more comfortable and it was the right choice.

Comfy Party Dress for an Evening Work Event
This is my 2nd time renting this dress. Last time I got the 6 and it fit great, but I have gained 10 lbs since then so I sized up for the 8 -it fit perfectly and was the right decision. I received a lot of compliments, and will probably rent it a 3rd time if the appropriate event comes up. It's comfortable and flowing but fitted at the waist and hips, so true to size.

Oceanside Baby-shower Back Up Dress
I didn't end up wearing this only because my first choice fit like a dream as well. I'm 5'7", C34, 150 lbs. The small fit me perfectly. The ruching in the back, and the flowy skirt make it very forgiving. I would have kept this if I could have. It was very flattering.

Followed the advice of other renters and sized down. It would have worked but it was too low cut. The fabric and construction are not supportive enough for someone 36 D to go braless, but it showed the entire front of my bra it was so low cut.

Unassuming Black Bag for a work trip.
I'm already a Gigi fan so I knew I would like this bag (I think this is my second time renting). It's big enough for my planner, phone, business cards, etc., and goes with everything. Very professional, don't want to return this flattering Kate Spade blouse.
I've had this blouse for a few weeks as part of my unlimited, and I don't want to send it back. I like the gathered seams at the shoulders, which gives an illusion of nice posture. I always order a size up when a blouse buttons up the front due to my bust size, 36D. I still needed a bit of garment tape to keep it from gaping, but I'm used to having to do that and don't mind.

A little too much cleavage... but I looked hot!
I didn't end up wearing this dress, even though it was very flattering. I am busty, 5'7, 160, 36D so I sized up, and was glad I did. In the end I felt it was a little too sexy for the conservative, formal, work event that I was attending (if I was going somewhere, where I didn't know anyone, I totally would have gone for it). The cut made my waist look small, and my boobs look big. If you are on the bustier side, I would recommend sizing up, with your normal size being your back up.

Flattering, conservative look for a formal corporate event.
Flattering fit, I'm 5'7, 160 with an athletic build (in other words a pretty solid girl). I thought this dress flattered my more boxy waist and made my arms look slender. I received a lot of compliments throughout the evening from both men and women. The print is different and fun -as most others chose solid dresses for the night, I felt like I stood out in a good way.

Straps All Over the Place
This dress was very flattering and I loved the flowing material. The straps however kept moving around on me. The d-ring on the back doesn't stay put and shifts as you wear it. Not a huge deal, I could have probably still worn it fine with a jacket over it, but I chose something else.

I read other reviews of this dress and ended up ordering a size down due to most of the recommendations about fit. Turns out I should have ordered 2 sizes down. I am normally a US 8-10 I ordered the equivalent size 6 and should have gotten a 4 equivalent. I will probably still do that because this dress is amazing. Just miss-sized.
