Elegantly Simple for a Hollywood-themed Affair
As usual RTR offers good quality gowns with substantial fabrics and linings that aid in smoothing lumps and just plain look better. This dress is no exception. The quality makes me feel good about me. I am not well endowed on the top, however, the dress has room for much much more in the bosom area. Being a seamstress, therefore, I carefully hand stitched a sizeable dart in from the arm hole so that a breeze would not blow in one arm hole, across my chest and out the other armhole. The dress then fit flawlessly. The morning after I removed the same stitches without harm to the fabric. My husband complimented that my dress fit so much better than those of many of the other ladies at the event. I look forward to my next opportunity to rent an exquisite designer gown from RTR!

It is always to nice to wear a great dress to a big event & not leave it hanging in my closet after.
I am "hippy" with small shoulders & bust so fitted dresses like this are always a challenge. I took a chance and the size 8 worked. It was a bit snug through the back side and a bit loose through the top side - just about as perfect as clothes get on my body. I like the weight of the fabric and the underlining. Since I am not a ruffles & ribbons kind of girl the small flair at the bottom was a perfect amount of femininity. Simple elegance.

Wow, I felt spectacular!
A perfect stranger approached me to ask where I got this dress saying it was her favorite dress among the 1000 guests at a very formal charity fund raiser event. Imagine how that made me feel! The emerald green sequins are set on a black back ground fabric making the beautiful color of this dress difficult to photograph. But I loved the color and it fit like a glove. The single shoulder and side slit made me feel very sexy, which does not happen often at this age. The hidden zipper was a bear to open and close. The slit did not hang properly in front. Seemed like the dress had been cleaned and the lining shrank a bit. However, no one noticed but me and all the compliments made me forget all about it. I would wear it again anytime!!

Very comfortable and good looking, no-wrinkle dress.
I wore this to a Christmas wedding so the color was perfect. It was just so comfortable and easy to wear. No need for Spanx, no worries about "over exposure" anywhere, nothing falling out. I was not self conscious about anything, which allowed me to simply enjoy myself. As always, those hidden zippers are a bit tough to pull through multiple layers of fabric. I wore a strapless bra just to make sure that nothing showed. Aside from that, I can give this dress is my whole-hearted recommendation.
