Reformation Needs to Stop Messing With Women's Heads
I am so sick of Reformation getting so much hype just to be repeatedly frustrated by how entirely inaccurate their sizing is. To be typically a size 4 and have to size up to an 8 or even a 10 is just obnoxious, and I think it's time they adjust this issue with their brand. I love this dress but it won't be worn out of the house because the zipper unzips every item I inhale, and the skirt doesn't cover my entire butt (I'm 5'4").

The kind of sweater that makes it seem like you have your life together.
Loved this sweater. It's such a simple, solid wardrobe piece I am contemplating buying it. It fit well, was warm without being too heavy, fabric was cozy and not itchy, and it didn't require anything underneath. Casual but put together, too. Compliments abound.

So. Much. Fabric.
I rented this shirt in an effort to break out of my comfort zone, but it had me running right back into it FAST! The neck tie is so strange, and especially overwhelming on someone who is short and generally fairly low key about hair and makeup. This top is just a lot, from neck to wrist, and what I thought would be fun and flirty and different just felt awkward, buttoned-up, and frankly, pretty silly.

Summer party perfect!
This dress is fresh and sunshine-y! I wore it to my friend's bridal shower and got a lot of compliments. No bra necessary, and the fabric was light enough to keep me cool outside but structured enough to keep its shape.

Couldn't make it work
This dress immediately felt like a costume, not something I could actually wear to an upscale event. It was also structured in an odd way, with too much room in the hip area but a good fit everywhere else. In actuality, the bodice is a separate piece of fabric than the skirt and that made it sit really strangely when it was on. Couldn't wear it.

This dress is so sexy!
Be warned - the skirt is extremely narrow and you will feel like your legs are trapped in a prison when you first put it on and try to walk around. It relaxes a bit as you wear it though and I got used to walking in it quickly (getting in an out of the backseat of a car is rough though!). Anyway, this dress is a showstopper. The color is beautifully rich and romantic, the fit is so sexy but not provocative, and the silhouette is unique - odds are no one else will be wearing anything like it! I received so many compliments and felt like a bombshell. One thing I will say: I don't carry much weight in my midsection and my chest is small, and I could imagine this dress not working well for someone with a large chest or tummy. I carry weight in my hips and thighs, and although my legs were tight together for most of the night the dress is very forgiving in that area.
