Poor fit, totally sheer
Not sure why someone would design this dress requiring you wear a cami underneath when it's meant to be a light summer dress that you wear because you don't want to wear too many layers...that plus the awkward extreme racer back neckline in the front of the dress made it unwearable

Equally great at work, on the go, or at an event
The length was actually great on my short (barely 5'1) frame which is rare. It was blousy up top, fitted at the waist, and one of the buttons gaped a little which I hate but it wasn't large, it's just the fit and make of the buttons. It looked equally good running around the city on an unbearably hot day as it did in the office, and I'd definitely wear it for an event or summer evening if I owned it (which I would like to once the price comes down!) Perfect spring/summer dress!

Beware of flashing your entire office
Either this designer is a man or it's a woman who does not make any movements in clothing and designed this to be worn solely by a mannequin because one small breeze or turn of the torso and you flash your entire office your stomach and chest. For whatever reason the front of this shirt is not secure anywhere, and it's flowy so that one small movement and your entire stomach is showing. And your chest. It doesn't help that the only thing holding the shirt closed is one of those teeny tiny buttons that, let's be honest, never stays buttoned and that would be particularly unfortunate on a shirt that is not capable of holding itself up and together to begin with. Luckily I noticed this mishap in the comfort of my own home and safety pinned the hell out of it so I could go out in public. But if the fine folks at RTR want to do everyone a solid and sew the inside lining together or remove this shirt from circulation so no one suffers a career limiting sudden movement or utter mortification, that'd be much appreciated. designers should design for people and not mannequins!

Requires a friend's help but really nice
So this what I call a "Friend Dress"--it's a dress that, when trying it on, is enough to make a single women living alone think "UGH I'm so self sufficient in everything in life except closing the buttons on the back of this dress!" I really enjoyed how light and fun this dress was, fitted in the waist but slightly large on me in the bust. I had to wear a jacket over it to work and have a colleague button up the tiny buttons in the back when I got there. But it's also a dress that I got so many comments and compliments on, including from two women I don't even know but proceeded to have a 5 minute conversation with on the benefits of RTR and how helpful reviews are in figuring out what to wear--hence this very thorough review. TL;DR: have someone help you button the back, it's a little large in the bust but totally fun and worth both those slight inconveniences!

Florals for spring? groundbreaking!
Fabulous fit, definitely on the snug side and I'm often between a 4/6. If I owned it I'd go up to a 6 for the times I might not really make the 4 work. It's stunning and would be glorious at a spring wedding but when I rent I tend to wear things to work or everyday is never wear daily if I owned! Can't wait to rent this again for an occasion! (Work with an RTR plum leather jacket that I equally adore)

Such a fierce yet work appropriate dress. There's a zipper for the slit to adjust how high the slit goes. Fabulously form fitting without being too tight or revealing. I'm a 4/6 and it fit beautifully

Odd sizing and sheer
Runs cropped but with a low V neck and large arm holes. Slightly sheer, and mine had small stains at the bottom. The tie runs a lot longer on me than it does in the model--hit at my knees!

Who doesn't love a cape?
Second time renting this top in two colors, love how chic a cape looks! Definitely heavy material so don't wear it if you overheat easily. Wish I could buy it but I can't decide if I want beige or black to own so I'll keep renting!

Lovely cropped coat slightly boxy. Warm with a sweater underneath for 50 degree weather--wouldn't recommend for 40 degree weather as it's not that warm. Boxy and big so doesn't photograph well but I felt chic!

Super sparkly--the sequins are glitter sequins so it's extra extra. A little heavy, like wearing lightweight fabulous chainmail. I wore it to work with jeans and flats but it could easily be dressed up with heels and some lipstick!

Cute everyday coat that wrinkles easily
Super versatile and casual coat that goes well with everything, light enough to wear inside. The only downside is it wrinkles incredibly easily--it looked like it had been tossed in a ball and left on the floor when it arrived, and a steaming only lasts through a morning commute before its wrinkled again.
