Buckle on straps are loose
I had to tighten the straps about 3 times during dinner and after. It was loose such that if I moved and there was any tension at all on them, the buckle slid and they loosened. This was inconvenient because the only accent on the dress is the silver buckles so if they are uneven on your shoulders it was noticeable and looked funny. I had to play with them to adjust them to the same height each time they moved. Not the end of the world but if I wasn’t with old friends it would have been a distraction.

Back looks unfinished.
The front was great but the open back just didn't work. It looked unfinished, as if a button or snap was missing so the fabric just dangled. I tried it over various tanks and camisoles as well but couldn't get it to look polished enough to wear it out.

Needed a belt
Great fabric but the waist was big. Luckily I had a textured black belt that matched really well and since the fabric was dark, you couldn't really see that the extra fabric was bunching around it. It was wearable but a meh.
