This dress was my original choice for a formal event. However, after getting a call from Rent The Runway, I learned that it was returned to them "damaged beyond repair" so I ended up selecting a different dress. However, I DID get one of this one sent to me, in a size 12. It actually had great stretch to it, and usually wear size 14 so I was pleased that I could fit it pretty well. I just ended up going with my second selection, but this was still lovely on. I would suggest that this be worn at an outside, day/afternoon event. Or at least at a venue that's lit very well. I felt like the darkness at the formal event would have left the sheer panel detail uneasily detected. And that's part of the charm of this dress.

I selected this outfit after receiving a call from Rent The Runway that the dress that I originally chose was returned "damaged beyond repair". I wanted to cry (the call came 2 days before my dress was due) but they informed me right away that they would upgrade my order and let me select another dress, no matter the price. It must have been meant to be because this one was amazing. Compliments came at me all night--had a number of people I didn't even know giving them out too! The dress runs true to size but because I have such a large bust (38G) I wore the size 16 rather than my usual size 14. This resulted in a great fit at the top but a lot of room in the rest of the dress. It wasn't anything that was really noticeable, however. I thought that the sleeves would impede my movement but they didn't. At all. And the dress itself was SUPER comfortable. Another fantastic rental from RTR!

I go back and forth at times between size 14 and 16 in dresses, depending on the fit. I got the 14L. Unfortunately, this dress was on the smaller side of the spectrum and I couldn't close it towards the top. I'm quite busty (38G) so while I was disappointed, I knew it was a probability.

I ordered this dress during my birthday month, in the chance that I'd have an opportunity to rock it--and I did! I made sure to pick something with stretchy material and was NOT disappointed. The dress fit great and I even wish I had gone a size down because I dropped some weight since ordering it. If you're busty like me (38DDD), I'd say either go for a really low back strapless bra, use boob tape or go without. I wasn't prepared and would have used the tape if I thought ahead to get some but I was able to wear it without a bra. Seems like this dress fits well on all body types! Oh! And if you have a booty, be warned that it does ride up. Bending over is NOT an option LOL
