Crisp, clean, professional, but...
Manages to look sharp despite a weird fit. The fabric is thick enough and the color is dark enough to generally cover up the problems, but the bust was too big on me (34B) and the waist was pretty snug and showed just about everything. Would have been hard to size up or down given the pair of problems. It's a nice dress if you feel like you can get away with it, but I was pretty self-conscious throughout the day. RTR terrific as always, wore for a work conference and they delivered to my hotel.

Cute, fun, but not really anything special
I liked this well enough. Fit true to size, I'm usually a 4 and the small fit nicely. Standard sweater dress--nothing wrong with it, but nothing particularly knockout about it either. Looked cute with gold flats for a casual work conference and then a day walking around the city. Hem rolled up on me a bit, but nothing out of hand. Was a little on the short side, even for me at 5'3".

I didn't want to take this off!
I really liked wearing this. Great print to jazz up an otherwise boring work shift. Fabric is thick with a bit of give that lets you move comfortably, but not a lot of stretch; if you're between sizes, I'd recommend sizing up. I found it true to size, however. I am generally a 4, occasionally a 6, and the S fit quite well. Also had enough room for a pair of athletic arms, which can be an issue for me with short sleeves. Lost a star for length. Only came to mid thigh on me and I am 5'3"! If not for the borderline length, I'd have seriously considered purchasing. RTR great as always, delivered to my hotel so I could wear for a conference.

Ridiculous
This is ridiculously over-the-top, and I loved it. It's heavy and big and shiny and if you're looking for full-on bling, this is it. Fit best on my index finger, which is a size 7.

Not for athletic types
I liked the overall look of this dress. It is an interesting pattern and the thick fabric is nice for a winter event in Cincinnati. However, the fit is not for athletic girls. I am 130lbs, usually size 4-6, but I have a muscular back and shoulders, and my upper body strained to get into this. I thought I might bust right out of the sleeves, and my breasts wound up being smashed totally flat (and I am not large-busted). Not the look I was going for. The remainder of the dress fit nicely, and a size up would have ruined the sleek fit in the waist. Ended up wearing something from my closet instead. Better luck next time!

Cute birthday romper
This was a fun late-summer change of pace for me. I liked the pattern and the fabric was light without being flimsy, and it has an easy drapey style while still maintaining a nice structure. I didn't have to accessorize given what a statement the piece made. For better or for worse, on me at 5'3, the shorts were a much more modest mid-thigh length compared to the model. In other Kate Spade pieces, I have had trouble with the shoulders being tight, but for this one, I felt it ran a half size to a full size large. All in all, though, it was fun to wear and I'd wear it again.

Fun and functional
This was a great dress for early summer. Wore with a denim jacket and gold shoes and I loved the low-key look. Size small hit just at the knee for me at 5'3". High quality but thick fabric, so might not be the best for super warm locales.

Too snug to wear
I thought this was a little small. I'm normally between a 2-4 with an athletic build, and while I could get into this, it felt too snug for comfort. Such a shame, because the fabric and shape are truly stunning. Would love to rent again in a size up.

Fun, classy dress
I liked this, although it was a bit different for me. The fit is both large and boxy, so even with a size down, expect it to have a loose fit. Most of the structure of the dress comes from the gorgeous and obviously high-quality fabric rather than the cut. This was not unflattering, but it certainly didn't show off my figure. Nonetheless, I loved wearing it and felt like it was a fun departure from my typical, more classically fitted style. I am usually between a 2 and a 4 and most frequently a 4; I wore a 40 and it was a good fit. I think two sizes down would have been too small.

Can we talk about how much I loved wearing this?
I felt so super sassy in this dress. The combo of just a little bit of swing in the skirt, the terrific print, and the striking but not overwhelming detail of the back zipper made this a total winner. I felt cute and confident in it and scored tons of compliments. This dress is probably better for shorter girls, as even on me at 5'3" it was a little short-waisted. I added a red belt to try to mitigate this, which I think worked, but taller girls might have issue. Hem hit just at the knee for me, and sizing felt spot-on. Loved it!

Cute and fun
I enjoyed wearing this, to work and then out on a date. Nice lightweight knit fabric in a cute, eye catching print and color palette. The top is a bit lower cut than I had envisioned based on the photos, which was not a problem for my occasion but I was a bit self-conscious at work beforehand and might be an issue depending on your plans. All in all a pretty solid choice but not as much of a knockout as some of the other rentals I've tried!

Formal but fun
I did not end up wearing this gown. I sized down per the reviews, and I had a hard time fitting into it. I think it runs overall true to size, but there is extra room in the bust, so if you're smaller chested, this will not be a good choice. The 4 (my normal size and a size up from what I ordered) would have fit better through the waist and rib cage, I think, but gapped in the bust. However, my friend who is a D cup looked absolutely smashing in this dress in the 2. Went braless with a bit of fashion tape and she said she was comfortable. Perhaps a better option for bustier gals!

My favorite piece!
Ugh, I spent so much time talking myself out of buying this blazer. It's fantastic. Heavy, quality fabric, spacious pockets, crisp tailoring...I loved it. It does run small, as other reviewers have commented. I am typically between a 2-4, athletic build, and the 6 was a good fit. But the 6 fit well and I felt great in it. Doesn't photograph well, but trust, you will look smashing! Photo paired with the Narcisco Rodriguez Black Jennifer dress, also RTR.

Fabulous in every way
I loved wearing this dress. I felt glamorous and classy in a way that I've never, ever felt before, even at other formal events - and comfortable in it to boot! I am typically between a size 2-4, 34B, with a very athletic build; the 42 fit perfectly without a bra, and felt secure with the assistance of a little fashion tape. I am 5'3" and wore 1" heels, and the petite length just skimmed the tops of my shoes. I did have to wear shorter heels than initially planned, because the petite length is quite petite, as you can see in photo #2 (where the dress is paired with the Laveer tux blazer, also from RTR). The fabric was gorgeous, thick without being heavy, with a subtle sheen. I decided to wear regular underwear without Spanx; at just the correct angle/lighting the lines were noticeable, but in the dim evening environment of my event I thought I could probably get away with it. SO happy I picked this dress and would love to rent again! Thanks RTR!

Heavy, thick.
I wanted to love this more than I did. I was looking for a feminine, flirty dress to wear to a head-shaving fundraiser event for cancer research. This fit the bill, and I received multiple compliments, but I didn't feel great in the dress. It's quite heavy fabric, and I was warm most of time despite chilly NorCal temperatures (and not having any hair!). I didn't feel like it did my straight, boyish frame any favors; I felt both thick and shapeless at the same time. I did like the pattern and the pockets, and the fit was true to size, but while overall it got the job done, I wouldn't rent this dress again.

Statement piece to go with everything
I liked this a lot. Solid and expensive-looking. Very deep, glossy black with just a thin rim of gold. There is an adjustable piece inside that helps with fit; it was still a bit big for me (size 6 middle finger), but the jewel part was large enough that it didn't slide or shift. Wore with multiple outfits over the weekend. Thanks RTR!
