Felt super high quality. Exudes a ton of style. Velvet and top was super comfy - not scratchy at all. Sleeves & shoulders definitely volumnous and padded but drama is what you're going for with this dress, surely? Definitely get a belt, romper absolutely screams for it.

You can actually adjust where the front is to place the slit where you want, I found I preferred it side facing rather than front facing as designer wanted. Could've definitely gone for a 4 or 6 but they were unavailable, and found 8 totally workable because of the adjustable belt (which can be tightened and loosened) as other reviewers said. If you want a longer length, size up, as this is quite short & the slit is high.

Fabric super soft, I felt super comfy all night! But there was too much fabric swanning around the armpit area, and the chest made me feel like I had a uni-breast - arms length felt a bit short too. Finally, the color was more muted than I expected - more grey, less green. Overall I was happy to wear it to a casual work dinner but would not rent again.
