Size up.
I think this shirt runs small compared to other items I’ve rented from Reformation. Ultimately because it was so low cut, it felt like an exclusively date night shirt rather than something I could wear for more of a day to day or office look. In the pics, I’m not wearing a bra but wore a strapless one when I wore this out which helped the look of this a lot.

Low cut frump?
I loved the color of this and older church ladies seemed to like it too, but it was low cut at the bust and high cut in the middle of the legs. I still felt sort of dowdy and hippy— maybe something to do with the sleeve length and the seams across the belly? I can’t quite put my finger on why this was a miss for me.

Low cut little house on the prairie dress
Weird fit in the bust area— sort of low cut with some gaping. The middle slit was also sort of funky. I felt like the fabric and print of this dress lent itself to dressing it down, but maybe the cut of it lent itself to dressing it up? Ultimately I did both, and the dressing down was the more successful look.

Strange fit
I sized up based on other reviews— they stretched throughout the day and wound up being slightly baggy in the waist and butt, but tight in the calves…

Mixed feelings
I loved these but I got a lot of weird comments, not necessarily complimentary when I wore them. My husband just didn’t quite know what to make of the thigh slit and I did have some paranoia that my fat would ooze out of the slit when I was sitting (although that turned out to be a non issue). The last time I wore a pair of Agold jeans the reviews were similar to this pair recommending to size up. When I did that for the other pair, they were unflatteringly baggy so I stuck with my usual size and they were a perfect straight leg, albeit with a slight flare at the bottom, like almost a bootcut. I did feel like in the waist they were structured with the right amount of room. The denim is rigid, with no nylon for stretch but they do loosen up with wear.

Short arms and a weird patchwork pattern, but still v cool
Was not expecting the patch work. I’m tallish (5’9”) and could have used another 1/2 in the arms but it was overall fine. I’m usually a 8 or a 10 and sized up to a 10, but if I ever rent again would do an 8 because the jacket is bulky enough that it made me feel a little frumpy.

Pajama vibes
I almost purchased these because they were so comfortable. Ultimately I felt like the light colors read PJs to me so I didn’t wear them that often. I did work out in them once- I would recommend them for non-sweaty workouts.

Not for me
I never quite figured out how to style these— I was always tempted to wear a pair of chucks and a nirvana tee and find my way to a 90s theme party or something. I did size up based on other reviews and wish I hadn’t. Maybe a true straight instead of super baggy would have been a better look?

The perfect dress
I am usually between and 8 and 10– I went with the 10 based on other reviews and it fit but the next time I rent this (and there will definitely be a next time!) I will go with the 8 due to the give in the back. I’m smaller chested, so there was some gaping for me with the larger size. I loved everything about this dress and am seriously considering purchasing it. I did look it up online to see if there were different prints and found one that I really like— I like the blue and white (almost toile) but I think I would get more use out of a different print because I live in an area with a blink and you’ll miss it spring season.

Pretty
If you're between sizes, I'd size down (I am a 10, and rented the 4, but would have been happier in the 3). I dressed it up with heels for an Easter celebration and then dressed it down with a jean jacket and knee high leather boots and got tons of compliments both times. I did find it to be low cut and wore a cami underneath, but if I weren't a suburban mom, I'd probably have just gone with showing some skin. I probably would have bought this, but the nearly $600 retail price is sort of insane-- while I felt pretty in it, it's not THAT much different than a dress you'd find at a Marshall's type store for a fraction of the price (e.g., the bottom hem was puckered, which could be from it having been rented a lot, or just not great craftsmanship).

The dreaded "wanted to love"...
Loved the idea of this jacket, but like others have mentioned, I found this to be extremely cropped. My son (age 7) told me, "I like your cool jacket, mom, but why is it so short?" The jacket was towards the end of its rental life and was a little worse for wear. It's also not a pure white or even cream-- it was more of a greige. Also, I had it on a chair in my changing area and I kept mistaking it for a terrycloth towel.

Loose fit and weird neckline
Not the best photo, but I tried to show the neckline which was weirdly loose/floppy, and oddly placed (not a v-neck, but not a crew neck, just awkwardly in between). It could be that I needed a smaller size, but this was a miss for me.

Oh, hello cellulite!
Weird combination of clingy but with no compression. In certain lighting you could see every bump of cellulite I have— you could even see the raised scar I have on my knee, my underwear lines, and the tag with the laundry instructions for the pants. They were also large at the waist, but have a skinny (shoelace sized) tie to keep them up.

More green than grey— I wore the dress with tights and knee high boots and despite being totally covered up I didn’t feel dumpy or matronly at all.

If you’re on the fence about sizes, size down
I’m usually a 10, but that size wasn’t available so I sized up thinking that maybe I’d get some length (I’m self conscious about my legs so a true mini made me a little nervous). Unfortunately the 12 was huge (like probably an extra 4 inches of fabric)— I did wind up safety pinning the skirt in the back and wearing it with a jean jacket and made it work. A girl literally chased me down the street and into a restaurant to ask about it, I guess it looked okay! I wasn’t really sure what sort of shirt to wear initially because the fabric was a little too “fancy” to go with a t-shirt. I think the jacket jacket (and the high boots I wore with it) took it down to a casual Saturday outfit. I will definitely rent again (but will get a smaller size!)

I can see why people pay $$$ for this brand
I was so sad to send these back- they’re more athleisure than workout pants (no pockets!) but they had the right amount of compression for a smooth look, but were buttery soft. I’m self conscious about my legs but I felt great in these. I will definitely rent again.

Wanted to love, but I'm a millennial...
I think I've just spent too much time in high waisted skinny jeans over the last 20(ish) years to enjoy this fit. As a result, I can't really tell if I thought they were unflattering because of the style (mid rise, cropped, straight leg), or because they are actually unflattering-- I am normally a 29 but rented a 30 and they were fairly loose throughout the legs, so they fit more similarly to the pictured model rather than some of the previous posters, who look like they had more of a skinny fit. I will say that it didn't help that RTR sent a pair that were towards the end of their renting life, so they looked like they were already very well loved, lived in jeans, which wasn't really the look I was going for. Also, a previous poster mentioned this already, but the stripe on the right leg kept turning inward for me, which was mildly annoying. My seven year old son really liked them though and if they were more like $40 and were a standard length, I probably would have kept them and just gotten used to a new look.

Weird hems
I wish I had sized down on this one because the overall fit was too large-- I'm 5'9" and the dress dropped well below my knees and the sleeves came down almost to my elbows-- both just hit in weird spots on my body, which made for an unflattering fit (maybe the M would have been better?). The fabric was thick, which made it nice to wear in the winter, though.

No compliments, but I don't blame the dress.
The first time I saw this dress on RTR, it was love at first sight. It just called to me, but it was never available when I had an event. Finally, it was available in a monthly shipment, so I added it to my basket figuring I'd find something to wear it to.... I wound up going on a date night with my husband and despite the fact that I think I looked great (and felt great in it), he didn't say one word.... so either I didn't look at great as I thought, or he's an oaf. I also didn't get any random "bathroom compliments", BUT I did send a mirror selfie to some friends who all loved it. I did wind up sizing up in hopes that it would buy me an inch of length, but the dress was still VERY short. I wouldn't mind owning this one, even if it is "girl hot" as opposed to "guy hot".

Just fine.
A little boxy and not terribly warm or soft, and yet for some reason I ended up wearing it several times. I didn't think the placement of the stripes and pom poms was particularly flattering and the overall fit was sort of "stiff" and boxy. It definitely needs a shirt underneath because of the stiff fabric. I did, however, like the colors, and the sweater seemed cheerful like a good choice for fall/winter.

Very short
If I was a 20 something year old still living in Hollywood, I’d have loved this dress… but I’m a mom in my 40s living in the suburbs these days… which is not to say I’m not into looking sexy/fun/fashionable, but I just felt like the dress was way too short for my tastes these days. I sort of wish they’d sent me a large and maybe then it would have been acceptably short, but as it was, this one didn’t leave my house.

Modest but not dowdy.
Technically this dress is true to size, but it’s a little clingy (sweater material) so I’m glad I sized up. I wore it for two different religious ceremonies (one at a church and one at a synagogue) and felt like it hit the right “tone” where I felt comfortable and “modest”, but still fashionable.
