Garden party
I didnt feel svelte in this but it was cute and hit the right notes for a friend's garden boutique opening. The length was just right for me.

I wore this to my (much) younger sisters bachelorette party...and then on a date...and then on a work call (w a turtleneck underneath) and then sadly returned it. I havent felt this thin in years. Its low cut and body hugging so give yourself a pep talk, then put it on and turn heads.

I am shorter and don't have a small waist but this dress was flattering. The top reminds me of a ballet leotard but I wasn't self concious of my boobs/cleavage like I was afraid I might be. I wore a pretty high heel - 3 1/2" or 4" - and the length was long enough in the back I had to remember to be careful when I was backing up, but not so much that it affected dancing. Comfy. Pockets! I dont think Ive ever gotten so many compliments in one night. Someone told me I looked like a 20's movie star.

This dress helped make my night.
This dress is beautiful. It really well made and the pattern is stunning. I was at a gala, and felt like it was unique among all the other dresses there. Like some other reviewers said, it is warm at first, since it feels like a wet-suit, but I didn't notice after the first few minutes. It also squeezes you in. I could have worn the medium but the dress is it's own corset, so tighter was actually more flattering. I was also really torn about weather to wear it normally or backwards. Having two-sizes and two ways to wear it made it feel like I had four dress options! I ended up wearing it normally because I am shy about having cleavage, but it was flattering both ways. I was sad to send this flattering dress back!

I didn't end up wearing this.
This dress was overall flattering, but I ended up choosing the other one I rented. It is really really short though. I am 5'3" and it was almost too short. The fabric is knit and a little itchy, but the sparkles dress it up a lot. I'm curvy and it's not forgiving, but still not a dress that you need to be a stick to wear. I would have worn this if Clover Canyon hadn't been such an amazing dress.

I got a lot of compliments on these, especially the blue. The colors are pretty much as vibrant as they look in the picture. The only downside is that the posts are really flimsy and one fell off. Luckily the way the back clips over the posts, made it so after the post fell off it worked as a clip-on earring. I just had to keep checking it was there.
