Matronly with strange front slit
Went with a different style. Was not a fan of the front center slit in an otherwise matronly, Victorian style dress.

Beautiful dress for an autumn wedding. Loved the plunging neckline and bow in back. Heavy velvet material and length came in handy for frigid outdoor seating. Didn’t get a pic :/

An absolute GEM for a November wedding!! Sophisticated and stunning.
Loved the long sleeves, plunging neckline, shoulder padding, short but not too short length, and asymmetric hem!! Things to note: The asymmetry is made possible by a slit going all the way up to your waist. When sitting the dress spread completely apart from the waist down, which was a bit shocking. Luckily, i was wearing bike shorts underneath! A well-placed napkin helped at dinner. The dress appears black in photos, but it's a lovely dark teal. BOOB TAPE IS A MUST - you won't regret that $15!!
