Overwhelming for petites
Should have sized down, still don't know if it would have worked for me-just too billowy and needed a lot of tucking to create any shape. On me it looked more like a 1700s men's night shirt than a cute peasant top

Runs small but would have been cute
It's tapered at the waist which is great but account for a tighter waist than you normally would in your true size. Too restrictive in the wait for me to feel comfortable in my normal 6(10).

Lightweight and comfortable but also fancy!
Perfect for my pear shape! Chest might be small if you're busty but I found the chest/waist/hips perfect for me. A little long but that's normal for me as a short girl and the sheer hem helps. So comfortable and was able to go braless!

Perfect style for vacation, runs large
The waist in this dress is very large. I sized down and still had a lot of extra room but that was good for vacation eating! It's always hit or miss with midi length for my height but this dress was a good length for me (5'2"). Because of the thickness of material and embroidery I didn't have to wear a bra so the "gap" between the buttons wasn't an issue. I think it's part of the design vs fabric pulling. I was nervous to rent this because of the mixed reviews but it was so easy and fun to wear!
