Cute but HOT
This top is lined in a smooth dense polyester fabric that is completely not breathable at all, so it gets VERY hot. For casual fleeces I'm used to the athletic brands which are insulating but breathable so this was a big surprise. Honestly because of that I'm not really sure where you would wear this. For me it was way too warm to wear inside somewhere. It was cute but I'm glad I just rented it instead of buying.

Very cute for 100% poly
I didn't read the fine print when selecting this top and when it arrived, was quite surprised to find that it is 100% polyester. It is "well made" as far as polyester tops go, but ... over $200 for poly?? It is cute from afar and fine for my purposes but I wouldn't pick it if I were going to be among the very discerning or in a warm place. Also, it does seem to require frequent re-adjusting as others mentioned, so I would not pick it for say, a day full of in person meetings or activities.

Awkward shirt
I rented this to wear for family photos in the fall. It was perfect in theory, but in reality I could not make it work. The puffy sleeves did not look right on me- maybe I'm too old for the trend or my shoulders are too broad? Not sure. Also as others mentioned the fabric has this kind of weird permanently wrinkled look to it. Within hours after ironing it was back to its wrinkled look. And then the strange high/low hem- I couldn't figure out if it is supposed to be tucked in or not. Oh well!

Easy maternity staple for work
This dress is great for my second trimester in the middle of winter. It is so easy to wear. Comfy and thick without being itchy or clingy. The gold buttons add some interest. The length is just above the knee on me (5'10"). I am wearing it with spanx maternity tights and knee high boots. I am holding onto it and just hand washing between wears until I'm ready to return it.

Rented this dress for a daytime occasion but ended up wearing a different dress. This one was loose in the bust and tight in the hips for me. The pink was more "bubblegum", brighter than expected - I def would not call it "pale pink".

Good choice for summer funeral
Based on reviews I sized up since this was for a funeral. I am usually a 2 or 4 and the small fit well without being clingy anywhere. It was perfect for a funeral. Could also wear to work, or I would try the XS for a cocktail party.

Strange fit
Rented this because I love all things Meghan Markle and she had recently worn a Brock collection dress. The skirt is clearly very finely made (in Italy). However I am not sure where I would wear it. It's a very lightweight almost gauzy cotton material which is not really office appropriate. Maybe with a fitted tee/bodysuit and heels for a summer date night? Agree with other reviewers that the sizing is way off, the waist is super tight and then there's a ton of fabric that gives the hips a lot of volume. I think you just have to be prepared and with the right outfit and occasion, it could be a knockout.

Something different but not crazy
Loved the fit and pattern of this dress. I was worried about the empire waist making me look pregnant but it did not, whew. Wore with black semi opaque tights and black high heel boots and a black leather jacket to a double date in February. Could probably wear to work but the asymmetrical hemline is a little avant- garde for my office. Even though the material is synthetic it is a nicer synthetic not too cheap looking. Still the dress is not lined and overall probably not "nice" enough for a semi-formal event. Recommend for a date, or dressier dinner type event. Would rent again.

Awkward fit, clingy, small print
I had high hopes for this top after reading reviews but unfortunately did not have the same experience. The neck tie-bow was really wrinkled so I had to iron that out. Once on, the busy part of the top is very awkward- there are pleats on the front that do not necessarily stay pleated down, so it ended up looking like just poufy extra fabric on the boobs. The sleeves do not have cuffs nor are they flowy- they are sort of this awkward in-between that just... sit there being plain looking and are loose enough to be annoying without being on-trend. The pattern of the fabric I found to be uninteresting in person. The size of the pattern is too small to be visually interesting. I guess if you have a larger bust (but small rib cage to accommodate the fitted part with no stretch) you could try it maybe layered under a cute black cardi? Will not rent again.

This top is not at all the quality of other Derek Lam tops I've rented in a similar style. The material on this one is a strange synthetic that feels and looks very inexpensively made. The colors also look "cheap" to me, probably as a result of the fabric quality.

The only maxi dress I have ever liked
Being a tall gal with not much in the curves department, maxi dresses are not usually flattering. However, this dress is an exception. The tiers on the skirt visually break up the length while adding volume. The tie adds visual interest and makes it dressy enough to wear to a nice dinner or even work with closed toe shoes and a cardigan. If I remember correctly the fabric is silk and lined, looks and feels high quality. Will rent again when it warms back up.

Comfortable, great fit, modern length
I loved this dress for summer 2018 and look forward to renting again this summer. I wore it twice, once to a backyard engagement party and to dinner at a hip restaurant with family. Both times received so many compliments. Sometimes it can be hard to find pretty summer dresses that aren't too "precious." This one knocked it out of the park. Also Rebecca Taylor can do no wrong in my eyes.

Shoulder pads like whoa
I rented this for a work conference and did not end up wearing it. There are built-in shoulder pads/stiffeners which were too much for me. Also the fit of the jacket overall was boxy and, on my 5'10" frame, looked awkwardly cropped. On a more petite frame I can imagine it looking cute.

Nice work bag to mix things up
I used this as my work (slash everyday) tote for 3 months. I work in health care and therefore prefer not to carry an expensive work tote with designer logos all over it. My go-to work bag is usually a black nylon MZW. But I wanted to try something with more "structure" for a change, and this was perfect. The TB logo is discreet, which I appreciated, and between the (purely decorative) drawstring strap and stitching, there is just enough detail to be interesting. The bag is not lined, however, and does not have a closure - for those reasons I am not sure how anyone could call it a good travel bag, unless pickpockets and water bottle spills are your jam. In summary, I am glad I rented it because it's not worth buying but it provided my wardrobe a little variety for a bit.

The fabric is thick with no give. I am usually a size 2 and found the XS to be constricting in the shoulders. It is definitely meant to be worn as more of a loose tunic style. The material is synthetic without feeling too cheap. The gold decorate buttons on the cuffs looked cheap to me. Overall it was just OK, nothing special. Probably won't rent again.

The silk portions of this top were majorly wrinkled. When I tried it on, the cut looked like a maternity top. Also the sleeves were an awkward bell shape.

Floppy front doesn't stay put
I didn't wear this. There is no closure on the front, which would be fine if the jacket were made such that the front parts laid flat and stayed put. However, for me they were floppy and didn't even look neat when I was standing still. The fit, material, and fabric I otherwise liked so it was too bad!

Versatile unique top - great fall colors
I wore this multiple times this fall, to work with black pants on warmer days, to dinner with a sweater jacket over it, even on thanksgiving with jeans and booties. One of my favorite tops for the fall. Received a few compliments too although it's not one of those pieces you necessarily wear to "stand out"

Emerald green to me... size up
I rented this for a holiday party. Was worried after reading lots of reviews describing it as more of a "teal" than a green. For me it was exactly the color I was going for, an emerald green. I would not call it real. I am between XS and S but went with the DS because I didn't want the sleeve part to be loose. However as a result the torso was a little tighter than I would have liked. Next time I would go for Small. I ended up getting lots of compliments but the style was a little "younger" than I would have liked.

I am obsessed with this top and have rented it twice already, each time wore to several events- work, party, shopping... love!!! I wore it tucked in with a high waisted white pencil skirt for work, not tucked in with black jeans for casual work, and with blue jeans on the weekend. My favorite this season (summer 2018)

Obsessed!
Wore this to work with black skinny pants and blush colored flats = perfect spring outfit. Received nonstop compliments! The pictures don't do this top Justice. The spot where the sleeves tie at the wrist has hidden elastic, so you can easily push them up out of the way when eating etc - loved that feature. The slit in front is not super low, but I wore a black tank underneath just in case. I will wear this one again for sure!

Floppy neck, total flop!
Was expecting a cute turtleneck with scallop edge. Instead the neck was completely stretched out and floppy, looked as if it had been stretched over the hanger 100 times. Also the fit was weird- short body but long in the sleeves. Avoid.

Unique sweater for work
This sweater was a thicker material than i expected but not bad. Perfect for winter/early spring but mag be too thick for late spring. It was a fun alternative to a normal blouse for work. I think it would also be cute with jeans on the weekend. It's nothing earth shattering but a nice top to mix up the routine in the winter.

Nice vacation dress
Wore this to dinner a couple nights on vacation in Hawaii. It's not a style I usually go for (I tend to prefer more fitted in the waist) but the style gives it a casual vibe that is perfect for the beach. The gold pineapple doodads at the end of the tie in the back give just enough flair. Very comfy and lots of compliments. Needs a strapless bra.

Nice for engagement portrait - not sure what else
Wore this to take an engagement photo from the waist up for our wedding web site. It was great for that purpose, but i don't think i would wear it in any other situation. The fabric is a heavier weight, very nice silk and the length is shorter than i normally like in tops. The two tails hanging down are interesting... i wasnt sure what to do with them. But i guess they do add visual interest. Maybe the top would work with a skirt or slacks to a fancy-trendy weekend luncheon?

Perfect for an indian wedding!
Wore this to a fancy Indian wedding and it was perfect. Just the right amount of color, sparkle, and embroidery detail to fit in without having to do the whole sari thing (they are gorgeous but so hard to wear!!) I felt like a movie star all day. Might be a little extra for your average American daytime wedding, but could work for a springtime gala event too. Love!!

Nice baby shower top
Rented this to wear to baby girl shower in December. Paired with black skinny jeans and boots- perfect cold weather shower outfit. The slit makes it interesting but could also be seen as a little extra- depends on the crowd and occasion. The bows on the sleeves are so cute however they do get in the way when eating/serving so i would not wear this for hosting a dinner party. Front is lined but back is not- there were some slightly warped areas in the back where obviously people had pulled too hard getting it on/off. My hair covered that but it might bother other people.

A little too precious
