This was such a delightful rental; it was beautiful and so cute. Surprisingly, there is very little give. After I ate, I had to change out of it because it was too tight. Despite how poofy it looks, there's a slip underneath and a zipper that was zippable but required some effort. If you had a smaller bust, that would probably be fine.

I’ve never had a dress scare me like this; it zips up when off my body - not easily, but it zips up okay. When I had it on my body, it wasn’t particularly snug but caught in the middle and required significant force to pull up. To my horror, it opened under the zipper and I had enormous difficulty getting the zipper down and getting out of the dress. I think this dress’ zipper needs to be replaced completely. When I zipped it up again off of me, it did zip up without a hole forming, but I did not want to risk it again because it took me so long to get out of it.

I actually didn’t really have any problems with sideboob, but the fit on top is not very flattering if you have C+ boobs because the fabric sort of squishes them down in a weird way. With my current waist size (30”), the size 4 fit me perfectly, though the zipper was hard to pull up (even off me). It was a pretty and flowy dress that was great for a mid-October wedding in upstate NY; the sleeves and length kept me warm. Unfortunately, the sleeves kept falling off my shoulder and the bottom portion of the sleeves were very restrictive on my bicep, so I could not raise my arms above my head at all. I generally did not need to raise my arms, but it was difficult to put my coat on. Overall it’s a beautiful dress and it was worth it for the wedding, but I would not rent again.

I like this dress so much I’ve rented it multiple times. It’s very flattering, the fabric feels amazing, and it’s very forgiving even when I’ve gained weight around my waistline (30 inches at this time). Make sure to tie the strings in the back when you’re not wearing it because otherwise they can slip out and they’re a bit annoying to thread through. (This was an issue when I got a massage).
