I LOVED this dress - it's perfection. Kate Spade typically runs large and this dress is no exception. I rented a size 4 and size 2 but even the 2 was a bit too big so I'd suggest ordering the size you think you'd wear and also one size smaller. It also looks black and white in photos but is actually a very dark blue and a pinkish white. It could easily be paired with a black suit/accessories though. The dress is chic and classic, which is exactly what I was looking for for my engagement shoot.

I rented this dress for my engagement photos. I'm on the shorter side so the dress came down pretty long on me and looked a little more like a "wedding dress" than I had hoped. It was also SO tight. I'm usually a size 2-4 but wish I had ordered a size 6 in this dress so I'd be a little more comfortable. The dress itself is beautiful though. I loved the way the light shines through the tool in our photos. It's a really pretty and romantic look.

This was my backup dress and I ended up not wearing it because my first choice was great. It's a good thing too because this dress came to me smelling like cigarettes and the smell was so strong I couldn't wear it for long without feeling gross. The dress is also a bit long and hit just above my knees. I would have loved this dress otherwise. Great design!

This dress was great! I could have gotten away with the 4 (my usual size) but it felt a little tight in the hips and was also a little short for a wedding so I decided to size up to my backup dress which was a 6. Unfortunately the 6 came with a rip in the side seam. It seemed like RTR knew about this and sent it anyway because the dress had a piece of blue tape on it and a red piece of paper stapled around the arm. I removed those and did a quick fix in order to wear it that night. The dress itself does run a little small and the bottom is kind of weird - it's like a modified bubble hem and it looks a little uneven/sloppy. Other than that, the dress is great and was the perfect mix of fun, sexy, and easy going for an upscale backyard wedding.
