I got a variety of responses, although the most frequent was actually: "you look like a Star Wars mechanic" "you can fix my hyper drive". Granted, I work for Marvel so everyone was on-brand. The waist strap is attached, so not optional. The closure is all the buttons you see in the front, so plan your bathroom trips accordingly. I also had to add a tank top because the armpits are cut DEEP. Overall I felt like an absolute badass, people literally step aside when they see this one coming 10/10.

Jean Not for Hourglass
I was pretty excited about this jean dress, but the reality was it was not made for my body shape :/ the top was SO ROOMY, and the butt/hips were just tight enough that I could tell I would spend all day pulling it down bc it kept getting hung up everytime I moved my arms. The color also wasn't great for my fair skin- the pink comes off as flesh colored. I would definitely recommend for straight or apple shapes. Fun detail: there is a long pull on the half zipper in the back, easy on/off!

She was a witchy woman...
So witchy, so mod, SO EVERYTHING. I adore this dress. The fit is perfect, the fabric is simple, and the design is infallible. My only complaint was that I wish the fabric is a little thicker. Regardless, I would have bought this if I had a few spare hundred $'s. It's a MUST RENT.

One of the Gang- ZOINKS
This top reminded me of the Scooby gang. It had sweet throwback vibes and flowed nicely. The fabric has NO stretch, so it would be tricky if you have a larger busy. The ascot element also sometimes comes undone, it needed to be adjusted throughout the day.

Nancy Drew is on the Case!
The frosting on the cake to any Nancy Drew inspired look! The fabric has great texture. The jacket is lined with blue silky fabric, but it's not insulated. Would save this for 45°+ warmer if it's windy.

The softest sweater EVER. So cosy and warm!! The medium fit me perfectly. You should be aware that the slits on each side are rather high, so you need to pair with high rise jeans or an undershirt. Also, mr coworker said I looked like Nancy Drew at a ski resort. LOVED!

One of my girlfriends said I looked like a 007 girl in this skirt. Paired with over the knee boots, this skirt had some classy throwback vibes. The fabric is very thick and the fit was TIGHT. I'm usually a 27 in Levi's, and I know I've got booty- but I do think the skirt runs a little small. Sitting down was a delicate operation and I was little worried about the tiny zipper holding everything together. Overall- a super cute rental!

This dress (paired with high boots) made me feel LONGGGGGGGG. I was expecting more of a black/grey sweater dress, this was NOT a sweater fabric. It's very sparkly, the sparkle thread is silver and red/pink. The dres has lots of stretch and is an ok weight for winter, but it's not a cosy knit like I hoped. Lovely choice for holidays, works great as a transition piece from work to a night out!

70's Babe
I rented this item because a few girls I work with had rented and it seemed cute. I am long bodied and short legged, so it felt a little short for my proportions. I paired with spanx faux leather leggings and leather combat boots. It was warm and comfy for a day at the office, and the soft stretchy fabric of the dress allowed for great range of motion despite the structured appearance of the dress. The color/pattern has a very sweet 70s vibe. I loved it!

Im 5'5", 27" waist and 130lbs. I should have rented the small it was long in the sleeve and just a little baggy overall. The fabric was very soft and the perfect medium weight for a fall day. I paired with black hose and tall velvet heeled boots. I did notice the fabric had started to pill by the end of the day under the arms and on the butt, which really would have bothered me if I had bought this item, but is nbd for a rental. I might not rent again, but it was really nice for a day!

These pants were quite popular in my casual dress office, everyone commented on the fit and LOVELY RUST RED COLORS. I wore these with a black turtle neck on a 55° day. You must pair with heels or tall boots, as the leg is fairly long. I'm 5'5" 130lbs, 27" waist, somewhat longer bodied w/ shorter legs. I opted to wear the waist rolled up, but you can also roll down if it's too tall. I spent the first half of the day adjusting the tie until finally I gave up and double knotted it. RENT THESE PANTS

I love the color of this jacket. I'm usually a small or medium and I rented the smallest size they make in this jacket and it was HUGE. My hands were completely covered and the should cut was way too wide for my frame. I did not wear, sent back immediately.

This wool and METAL mock turtleneck dress was an absolute hit. Everyone at work loved it. It was warm, comfy, and easy to move in. The fabric is heavy and perfect for those 60° fall days. The pattern was surprisingly slimming! I will absolutely be renting this one again.

TRANSPARENT
I wanted to love this. It fits perfectly, and all the material is very comfy and stretchy but it's completely transparent. I was expecting the arms and bottom to be this way, but the "lining" you see in the image is made of black transparent fabric as well. If I stand anywhere near a light source you can see the full outline of my legs. The fit over all would not be very forgiving to a slip or slimwear, the fabric is just too thin. Good luck renters!

This burgundy jumpsuit was perfect for a late September high of 70 day. The fabric is heavy and wraps around the leg so that there is a hidden slit just above the back of your knee. When you walk, the split in the leg of the pants really flows nicely! I have a long torso, so the 4 was a little bit tight in the neck/caboose directions, but the waist was adjustable and fit perfectly. Paired with black pumps and it was an office hit! ***when seated leg/thigh may be exposed due to cut of pants***

I'm usually a size 4, I got the size 0 in this and it fit me perfectly. The belt came in a separately in a little satchel (I almost missed it!) Super comfy for all day wear although the fabric doesn't breath in super sticky weather. It should be noted that this fabric doesn't stretch at all, it feels like triple woven polyester. Baby bumps up to T2 might work, but T3 beware!

Wrap Dress Bootcamp
Linen has no stretch. Wraps always fit. This dress is a match made in heaven. The wrap elements hang from the bust and perfectly pull in the dress a few inches above the belly button. There are -POCKETS- but don't get too excited... they occupy the "pooch" area, so putting anything in them makes you look lumpy... only other concern might be the slit in the back- IT IS HIGH, I wore it to work anyway!

Everyone was jazzed about this skirt. The shape is flattering, the fit is comfy and the design is so unique! Did I mention GIANT POCKETS???? I wore this on the weekend and at work and it was absolutely perfect with everything. You have to be able to embrace the wrinkles a little, but otherwise it's flawless. I'm a size 27 waist and the 4 fit perfectly.

SIZE UP - no stretch 100% polyester
I did not, could not, wear this shirt. It was brand new and super charged with static as soon as I got it. The fabric is 100% polyester (blech) and has zero stretch. This wouldn't have been a huge problem if the closure had been large enough for a HUMAN HEAD. There is a zipper from the neck to the shoulder and neither I, or any of the 3 girls at work who tried, could get this over their heads. Kind of fun idea, but all around disaster. I pray for the souls that purchased this 4real.

Modern Goth Jedi Vibes
My fiancé took one look at this cotton sweater dress and said "modern goth Jedi" and I knew this was made for me. The fabric is a stretch 95% cotton blend that was perfect for our cloudy 68° nyc day. The knot in the front is made with two lengths of knitted fabric and is 100% customizable. There is a hidden slit on one side that goes up to just about the knee and allows for easy movement. The only piece that might be an issue for some is the fitted sleeves, the cuffs were a little bit tight when I first put it on but where fine by end. Pro tip- if you do your makeup before getting dressed, throw a T-shirt over your face before pulling this on so you don't accidentally transfer any concealer onto the collar!

Long and dressy
I didn't wear this even though it fit me ok because it was just too dressy. I would have had to pin the legs due to length (even with heels) and the top was a little roomy in the chest even though I have average cups size. My fiancé suggests I order the next size down because it said it looked a little baggy over all, but I'm not sure if that would have helped. Maybe I'll try it again another time. Fabric didn't really have stretch, but did seem to breath well.

This dress was fantastic, I got tons of compliments at work on this, and it was pretty comfortable to wear. I gave it only 4 stars because of 2 annoying things- Wrinkling and the occasion "monroe" moment. Because it's a wrap and it's light weight, it occasionally would get caught by a breeze and flash a healthy amount of thigh- user beware. It was also pretty humid in NYC the days I wore it and it wrinkled progressively throughout the day. It LOOKS like a linen summer dress so it didn't disrupt the style too much but it's better suited for a standing and walking day, not for sitting. Once upon a time in Hollywood
I wore this cute top to the Tarantino film and felt like I could have stepped right into the screen. Lovely throw back vibes! Draw backs- it is VERY roomy in the front while sitting. If you're not particularly busty you won't have enough to hold everything in place (like I did :c). Also- had to do stickies for bra as the fabric is too loose and thin to go without. Renter beware- this fabric has no stretch and closes with a zipper on one side!

This was a cute dress but it has some issues. The slit in the front was somewhat unpredictable. Most the of the time it was invisible then suddenly HELLO GIRLS. Also this fabric has no stretch. At first I didn't notice but after sitting all day it really started to get uncomfy. Ok for a rent, glad I didn't have it for keeps!

Very stretchy pants, super comfy. I wish I had ordered a size smaller because the waist was too large. For size reference- high waisted Levi jeans in size 27 fit me like a glove. These were also very long, so I cuffed them about -3inches. I paired with the Hunter Bell Black Noel Top and Vince Camuto heels, it was an office favorite!

An Iron-clad Option
This black flowy blouse is just TOO MUCH fun. It's fully lined in the front and has a great built in tank that covers your lower back (and any bra). The chest was snug, so you could probably get away without a bra, but I stuck to the standard undergarments for this ensemble! Paired with Theory Houndstooth Classic Pants and Vince Camuto heels. I'm going to hang on to this one for a bit! <3

A jumpsuit Agent Carter would be proud of... SO COMFY. The fabric is very stretchy and hangs nicely. Complaints- too sticky for the humid walk to work (to be expected) and much too long in the leg. I pinned up about 5inches so I could walk to work in my street shoes. The v neckline is something to be mindful of as it does shift a little throughout the day. I paired with a skinny belt and BCBG metallic strap wedges. Necklace by Rise Hawaii.

Ms. Frizzle - Valentino Edition
I rented this dress as part of my very first rtr shipment mostly because I've never worn something like this before. The style is fun, with a circle-ish skirt and the flared sleeves. The fabric is thick enough to hide minor imperfections and is SUPER stretchy. As soon as I put it on I felt like a 1st grade teacher, possibly even one with a magic school bus... I wasn't thrilled with the fit, as the lines are not very forgiving for anyone with an hourglass or pear shaped figure, but it was fun enough for a day. I can say confidently that I will never buy this.
