This dress was perfect for my daughter's baptism and party afterwards. The high neckline and conservative length were appropriate for church and the pattern and full skirt were fun enough for the party. It photographed well and looked great in all the pictures. Definitely fitted around the bodice and forgiving for the bottom (which was perfect for my 4 month post-partum body type). The material is heavier with a slight metallic thread running through it. Perfect for a chilly, grey April on the East Coast. I'm 5'10 and the dress hit me just above the knee. TTS.

I love this dress! I'm hoping to have another event come up so I can rent it again. I wore it to my work's annual gala reception that is held offsite in a tropical location. Its a more formal occasion but because of the location, its a little less dressy. This dress was perfect- the flowy fabric with its subtle sheen print and length was formal enough but so comfortable for a long night and hot weather. The v neck was as shown- so modest enough for a work function. The color totally popped with my tan and I stood out in a sea of darker dresses. I wore with no necklace and lots of gold bracelets and dangly earrings. The only downside was that one of the thin straps was fraying a little and pulling away from the dress. Not totally noticeable (although one co-worker did point it out to me) but I hope quality control picks it up before the dress is sent out again.

I rented this for my son's christening. The neckline was modest enough for a church event and the gorgeous color totally popped in all the pictures (and no fussy details for a baby to grab on to either!). The cut is super flattering and the dress was very comfortable to wear. The dress is a medium weight fabric so it didn't wrinkle and looked fabulous from pictures before to the church ceremony to the party afterwards. I wore with nude heels and gold jewelry. As for size, I was a 4/6 pre-pregnancy and am about a 6 right now. The 6 fit perfectly so I'd say this dress runs pretty true to size. All in all- absolutely perfect!

I rented this for a night out in Vegas and absolutely loved it (as did my husband!). It was so fun and blousy and I really liked the animal print and chain detail at the neck. Even though the picture shows no tights, I ended up adding black tights because the length was pretty short on my 5'10 frame and it was cold out. The size small fit but I went with the medium to get the slight (and I mean slight) increase in length. The top on the medium was blousier on my 34B top but oh well, that's what they make double sided tape for. You need a nubra or pasties to wear this due to the way the back is cut. I would definitely rent this again in the warmer months for a girl's night out or a party! :)

I rented this for a trip to Vegas and it was everything I hoped it would be. The long sleeves balanced out the short length (but I am 5'10 so everything is shorter on me) and adding tights kept me nice and warm in the chilly February weather. This was truly a show stopper dress though. I got tons of compliments all night. People couldn't stop remarking how pretty the dress was or how perfect it was for Vegas. I'm 145lbs and a 4-6 in dresses and I wore a size small in this. It is stretchy so I would say it runs tts to slightly big due to the stretch. Oh the one issue is that the sequins may snag on your tights. I wore thicker, quality tights but one time when I was sitting I leaned over and put my arm across my lap and caused a line of kinks/pulls in my tights. Thankfully it was the end of the night so it didn't matter but definitely something to be aware of.

This dress is really, really gorgeous in person. The bold color and the construction of the draping is stunning. I received so many compliments at the wedding I wore this to. Fit-wise, I'm 5'10, 145 lbs. and wear a size 6 in dresses and though the 4 fit, I wore the 6 because the draping was more pronounced. It didn't look baggy or bulky though which is certainly an attestament to the quality design of the dress. It was SO comfortable too! The back is a little low so I needed to use double sided tape to secure the dress in one spot but I was able to wear my regular low back strapless bra with it (on that note, does RTR send out fit kits anymore? Luckily I still had some tape from the one I received with my first order, but I haven't received a fit kit in my last couple of rentals. But thank goodness I did because it was a necessity!) and, once on, you do need to tug at the dress a bit in spots in order to loosen up the draping and get it to hang right. But overall, I'm so glad I rented this. I felt simply awesome in this dress!!

I loved this dress- its really cute color and this is the first blousy top dress that wasn't overwhelming. The arm cutouts can be tied at the bottom or left open for a different look as well. However, I unfortunately did not end up wearing it. I rented this to wear to a college reunion thinking it looked like a dress that could go from day to night but once I put it on I noticed that the back of the tush area is really clingy. Maybe this would be neutralized by wearing boy shorts like the other reviewer said but, since the bottom is unlined, the fabric really clings and defined the curves of the backside for lack of a better description. I'm by no means heavy but the model in the picture must have a very flat derriere lol because I suspect that anything more substantial would cause the dress to be more clingy in that area than it looks in the picture. That being said, would I wear this out for fun/girls night/backelorette party? Heck yeah! It just wasn't appropriate for the daytime portion of the particular function I rented it for. :( BTW I am 5'10, 145 lbs, 34B and the medium fit great.

This is why I love RTR- perfect dress for the perfect event. I wore this to an outdoor party/college reunion and it was a big hit. The dress was super comfortable and flattering and the colors were so bright and fun. My husband jokingly called it "the watermelon dress" but he loved it too. I'm 5'10, 145 lbs, 34B and though I typically wear a size 6 in dresses, I wore a 4 in this (which is my typical Lilly size).

I've always wanted to wear a herve dress and my friend's destination bachelorette party was the perfect excuse. The dress was gorgeous and beyond my expectations in color, fit and quality. I'm 5'10, 145 lbs and usually wear a size 4/6 and the medium fit me just fine. I could've worn a small for an even sexier fit but the medium was plenty fitted. I did have to adjust it by pulling up the front at the chest or down from time to time so it woudn't bunch at the waist but nothing that was too annoying in any way. I was able to wear a normal strapless bra too which was great. Seriously, people stopped dead in their tracks to look at this dress, it really is that much of an attention getter due to the color and fit. You certainly can't be shy in this dress! I wore it with nude heels and chunky turquoise necklace for a fun summer look. Don't hesitate to rent this dress, it's incredible and you won't regret it! :)
