Formal, but fun...conservative but cool enough for a hot summer day. I wore this to a graduation ceremony and it was the perfect style. I was also chasing after 3 young kids and was comfortable all day long - the straps stayed put, the skirt of the dress was long enough so I could bend over, sit, pick kids up with no worries...and the pockets...oh the pockets! Those were awesome! All in all, a great dress for a semi-formal summer event.

The front was pretty plain and didn't photograph particularly well. The back was pretty, but I wasn't photographed from the back...I wore this while I was 3 months pregnant with my 3rd child, so I already had a little bump -the peplum front helped hide my bump.

Received many compliments. Great dress for cooler weather. Sleeves a little tight, dress wasn't in mint condition - a little frayed at the bottom and the bottom of the sleeves. I added a skinny belt to give my waist definition. Definitely needs something with it - a belt or a statement necklace.

I didn't read the description correctly, and realized when I received the earrings that they are clip-ons. They were very heavy, and I ended up taking them off before I even got to the event - they HURT and left marks on my ears. Maybe they won't hurt as much if you're used to wearing clip-ons.

I wore this dress to a wedding in Las Vegas. I was 5 months pregnant at the time, and this dress fit wonderfully. I rated it "true to size", because I went up a size due to my pregnancy. I wore a "special occasion" bra that could be adjusted to a halter, one strap, or strapless. I wore the one strap and criss-crossed it across the back (from left shoulder to right hook on bra). I used safety pins to keep the bra in place. The material is very forgiving and flattering, the color is a vibrant green. I loved the look of the one shoulder - sexy, but still classy.

The gown fit nicely except for the bust - it was a little big. The length was a little shorter than I expected because I ordered a long, but it was not noticeable and looked fine with small heels. The dress doesn't have a lot of give, but it is very comfortable. I used double-sided tape to keep the top attached to my strapless bra, and also to keep the garment hanger string things tucked in - they kept popping out. This was a great choice for a military ball - conservative, classy, and beautiful. I appreciated the fact that it is a formal gown, but not a prom gown - I'm too old to pull a prom gown off. I recieved the gowns (I ordered the 2L and 4L, not sure of which size would fit best) on Thursday afternoon for a Saturday event. I had enough time to make sure my shoes and jewelry matched, and to try the whole ensemble on before the ball. When I went to return the dresses in the pre-paid package, I ran into a dilemna. The blue postage boxes that rent the runway says to drop the package in states specifically that you should not put anything over 13 ounces in it. The package was pre-paid up to 2 lbs. I had no idea how much the dresses weighed, so I brought it to the post office. I don't know if it would have been fine if I dropped it in or not - I just didn't want to take the chance.
