The size 4 fit perfectly. I did end up wearing a low-cut black camisole so that I could wear a normal bra. The back still looked cute even though it was not entirely exposed.

Initially, I was a bit concerned that I could shove myself into this 'bandage' dress, but the other reviews assured me that it was worth the effort. The zipper and fabric are made well to endure the struggle as the dress acts as self-contained Spanx. The smoothing and curve-hugging effect was flattering. The dress is shorter in the back, so I wore black bike shorts underneath so that I didn't have to worry about bum exposure.

This was the backup dress that Rent the Runway sent, and I thought my other selection looked better for the event. The fit was true to size and comfortable,. The dress looked fine, but I did notice that it was loosing sequins during the ten minutes that I tried it on so this could be a larger problem throughout the night.

I received many compliments affirming that this was the perfect Christmas party dress. The small fit nicely. Although I probably wouldn't order it it I were much taller, because it was somewhat short. The dress did not come with the sash included in the picture, so be prepared with a back up belt.
