Full skirted fun!
A number of considerations about this dress: the back zipper runs the length of the dress, meaning it can be zipped straight off. That makes me nervous around many intoxicated pranksters. Also, the skirt seems to be rather sheer. I was assured my fears were unfounded, but it would hurt to procure a slip, just in case. As other reviewers mentioned, this dress does run rather small, with the bodice being particularly tight and made for a longer torso than mine. On the one hand, no bra was necessary, but on the other, the dress had a bit of bunching. In spite of these concerns, the dress was very pretty, fun to dance in, and I received many compliments. I paired it with the Slate and Willow Wildflower Necklace, which was also gorgeous, and the Rebecca Minkoff Purple Minauderie clutch.

fashion tape.
I think the slight tendency to run large is all in the lace portion. There is a tight nude slip with zip closure that is worn under the black lace sheath. Gorgeous, but the black lace ran a little large. Additionally, if you have a chest, fashion tape will be your friend. I was a cleavage bonanza so I taped myself in to achieve some security that I would not show too much.

Classy and Comfy!
I went to a wedding, and it just happened to be snowing. In mid April. This dress was very cute and had enough sleeve so that when I took off my coat inside, I didn't freeze. Runs a bit big, so get your usual and a size down.

Amazing, unique look delivered straight to my door
Felt gorgeous all night at a formal ball! Great length with a 3.5 inch heel, nice heavy fabric to give it a good drape. Looked a bit more purple in person than I expected, but beautiful nonetheless. Shapewear is definitely a good idea; the fabric isn't heavy enough to hide underwear lines. The cut makes it easy to wear just a regular strapless bra, which is helpful. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the belt. I felt like it hit at an odd level; not quite my natural waist and not at the hip.
