This is a great LBD with a little bit of sex appeal. Actually, a guy I'd never met before said upon my entering the room, "Wow -- That is a GREAT dress." (admittedly uncomfortable, but flattering none-the-less) The dress does run small -- Small = Hootchie Mamma, Medium = Sophisticated Sexy. The medium is significantly longer. I did find the shoulder pieces to be a little big in the M, but it was still a better overall fit.

This was a backup rental I didn't end up wearing, but it is really cute. I normally wear a 2 in Ann Taylor or Loft and this was a PERFECT fit for me. I did feel as though it were fairly high-waisted, which gave it a bit of a childish feel. The skirt is beautiful, but it is a HEAVY lace making this dress probably more suitable for late fall through early spring.

Dress does run small...1 size smaller than a "normal" brand, 2 sizes smaller than a vanity-sized brand like Ann Taylor or Banana. Also note the length! I'm 5' 6" and could not have gotten away with this length if I were any taller...super cute, but super short. The front feels longer than it is due to the ruffles, but back has no length for sitting comfortably or bending over at all. I knelt down to sign the guest book so as not to flash those behind me! I wasn't sure about this dress at first as the v-neck didn't seem overly flattering, but I was flooded with compliments all night. It's such a unique dress that nobody was analyzing the neckline.
