This is a really pretty dress on and, in general, I liked it - it was my backup dress and I ended up wearing it for a formal event. I'm 6 months pregnant and typically would wear a 4L. I sized up to a 6L and it was perfect. It's not really stretchy but the material worked in that size, given my growing bump. I did not give this 5 stars because I am 5'8" and ordered a LONG. This isn't a long. I had to buy 2" kitten heels for this dress and it barely worked, length-wise. I prefer my long dresses to touch the floor - this did not in 2" heels. I looked silly in 4" heels so, if you are over 5'6" and want to wear high heels, this isn't the dress for you. If you want to wear shorter heels or flats, it's really pretty.

I ended up wearing my backup dress. I am 5'8" and ordered both the 4L and 6L in this dress. Both of them barely grazed the floor when I was barefoot. I don't know why the long versions were both so short, but if you're over 5'6" and wish to wear any heel and you want the bottom of the dress to hit the floor, this isn't the dress for you. The overall fit was fine, but the length was not at all a 'long'.

I rented the 2 and 4. The 2 was basically a shirt on me. I'm 5'8" and even trying it on with tights was an absolute no-go. The 4 that I got had a large hole under the arm, the lace was tattered and the hem was a mess. I called RTR as my event was the next night. They have amazing customer service. She told me that they had another 4 but it was in dry cleaning and she couldn't guarantee it would be done so she overnighted me 2 sizes of a new backup dress and promised to send the 4 separately if it made it out on time. The next day I got 3 dresses. Ended up still liking this one more and the new 4 was perfect. 5 stars on RTR's customer service!! Was so appreciative and got so many compliments! I'm a lifelong customer now. Have probably rented 5-6 times in the past 8 months and have told SO many people about this company.

I got the 2L and the 4L. The 2L fit perfect in the body, however it was about 4" too short, despite being a long. I couldn't have worn flats and it was borderline too short. Also, the cap sleeves were very tight and I couldn't raise my arms. I ended up going with the 4L. The length was perfect for me being 5'8" in my 4" heels. The cap sleeves were comfortable, however the dress was a bit baggy around the middle. Overall, i got a ton of compliments on this dress and I really liked it a lot.
