For a specific body type
Big in the boobs, but the waistband is tight and has no give. If you're more of an hourglass than I am, it'll work.

I'm a 36C and my boobs didn't fully fill out the bust so you need a push-up bra if you're not bigger than that. It was a little tight in the hips but not a dealbreaker. Still an interesting piece that you can dress up or down.

First off, I clearly look AMAZING in this dress, and it goes perfectly with my unicorn fanny pack. I wore it with some Teva sandals because it was hot out and they were comfortable. Also any black bra kinda of blends in, even if the dress doesn't fully cover the straps. A perfect summer lewk.

Great for work or a cool event
Looks great on, but it was a bit tight in the stomach area where the elastic is. So maybe size up. Also I struggled to get into it before noticing there was a zipper, so pro tip: there's a zipper.

Snug in the hips
It's a cool dress. The neckline does need some steaming and some fashion tape to hold it up, but it looks good up top. I've got some hips so it was right around them, and I could barely get my hands in the pockets. Sizing up makes it too big in the chest.

Love this, now a Universal Standard superfan
Wore this on vacation to Vancouver. Very cool, comfortable, fastens in the front like a pantsuit should. You can dress it up or down, pockets are great. Material is better for spring or fall temps, not dead of summer. But I absolutely loved the cut and the style.

Cute but gave me a wedgie
I wasn't gonna freeboob this one and had the perfect undergarment for it. If you plan to go commando up top you'll need fashion tape. Also I have a pretty short torso and yet this still gave me a wedgie in the front and back. It looked cute but it's not a low-maintenance garment.

It's an overall big fit but the elastic on the wrists is snug. I think I could've sized down and looked less pregnant. Point being: I am not pregnant. Still, it's fun and cute if you can pull it off.

So cool and flattering
I sized up to an 8/40R because someone said this gave them Camel toe. So it was comfortable and still looked decent but I could've gone down one. I'm 5'3" so it hit right at my shoe line, on someone taller it might be a cropped look. I dressed down with sneakers but you could easily make it more fancy with heels. Loved it.

Cool and weird
Waist is smaller than pants would lead you too believe. Super comfortable, got lots of compliments ( from the fashion girls and the gays--the straight men seemed confused). I'm 5'3" and wore 3 inch wedges, which made the pants hit at the ankles, but I could've gotten away with flat sneakers too.

I also couldn't wear the shoulder piece around my shoulders because it didn't stay in place. But you can dress this up or down. I threw a denim jacket over it. I also didn't need a bra.

A gorgeous dress. There's a book that lets you decide if you want the neckline to be low cut or low LOW cut. It was legit all I had to wear that day so I decided that would be my gift to my colleagues. Still, great for a dinner party or a date.

Gorgeous dress, for a certain body type
Got tons of compliments but I have a short torso and not the flattest stomach. Dress was Bunchy in the trunk and buttons gapped a bit. Covered the bunching with a wide belt. If you are taller and less curvy this is a great pick.

I probably could've sized down, the bust gaped a bit. But Alice Temperley can be tight in the rib cage, and I was comfortable there. Needed a little bit of ironing but I LOVED IT and so did everyone else

Lots of compliments but I wasn't that comfortable
Yes I did take a selfie in the Times Square Bubba Gump bathroom and I'm not proud. I got a lot of compliments on this dress, but I had a hard time tying it in the back so it would cover my bra and then, when I went braless, the sleeves would slip. The material is magically not seethru. Also having a tied knot at your back: not so comfortable all day if you enjoy sitting in chairs. Probs nice for a garden party tho.

So much prettier than in photos
The material is actually a shell made out of a translucent, modern take on lace, overlaying a satin bodice & skirt. I never thought of myself as a Kate Spade person, but everything always fits well, has pockets, and includes snaps for your bra straps to keep them from falling out everywhere. I just loved it.

I should've gotten the small. No idea why I sized up but it took a lot of fashion tape to keep from having a wardrobe malfunction. Still, if you get the right size it's a solid summer dress. Wrap skirt doesn't blow open and the fabric is breezy.

Liked it way more than I thought I would
I thought this would be a plain boring floral dress but it looked really cute on! You can pop the collar the make it a little more sassy, the pockets are great, and the material is heavy enough that the skirt doesn't blow up in the wind, but light enough that I could still wear on a hot day.

Looked great on, wasn't the most comfortable
It's a cool and fun day dress. It was just very tight in the ribcage, but sizing up would have made it too big in the chest. I'm a 36C so if you're a 34 or below it might not bother you. I looked adorable, if I do say so myself. But after a full day at work I was ready to take it off.

This dress clung to me in the hips but was loose in the bust and back. I couldn't fix it with any sort of belt. It would work better on a straight and narrow silhouette.

And belted the dress and it gave it a nicer silhouette. That said, it was a super hot day so I was sweating under the belt and sweat really shows up on this material. Maybe wear on a less humid, 75 degree day than and 85 degree one.

Light silky material, doesn't show too much skin. Bigger busts may want to size up, the belted waist will still give you a nice waistline.
